    • The most durable sunnies I've ever owned!!!!
A very durable pair of sunglasses. The lens pop out so you can change the color of them if you want to. I am into extreme sports so purchasing these sunglasses was a must for me due to wanting them since the 1980s and also because they are extremely durable. I must have dropped them over two dozen times and have sat on them accidentally three times. The sides snap on and off so there is no need to worry about buying a small Phillips screw driver to tighten them. The plastic is light and very durable. So now worries about breaking the plastic. These hands down are the most durable and gnarly pair of sunglasses I have ever owned. I really like these sunglasses very much. The pink frames have a dark violet/purple color right at the tip/end & the color alone, makes these particular Frogskins very cute & feminine for a female to wear; I'm not saying a woman couldn't wear & look nice in black frames that a man wears. I'm not saying a man couldn't wear these frames & look nice in them as well. This is just my stupid, humble opinion. I enjoy the lenses also, but they are not polarized & dark enough for me. I have very sensitive light blue eyes, so these pink iridium lenses are just not as dark as I would like for them to be, which is why I bought darker, polarized lenses for these frames. I still give these Frogskins 5 stars regardless. These are in fact authentic Oakley's. It comes in a small dust bag that can also be used to wipe/clean the lenses & an Oakley black box with information/warranty information inside. I looked up the serial number & the sunglasses are in deed, authentic. My sunglasses came in perfect condition without any scratches on the lenses or frames themselves. These fit perfect right on my face right out of the box. I opened the box, put 'em on my face & went out. I also have a pair of cotton Chums eyewear retainers to keep these around my neck safely when I'm wearing my eyeglasses. The struggle is real for people like me that wear eyeglasses & don't have Rx sunglasses. I may look into getting my Rx put in these frames???? I'll have to look into that. You have to keep switching back & forth with your eyeglasses & sunglasses-what a pain! The Chums fit on these frames with ease & comfort. I am super pleased & I am loving these sunglasses & will love them even more when my new lenses arrive & I give them a go! ... show more

    • Great shades with great style
The polished white frame and ruby iridium lens Frogskins were the first in my collection and are still my favorite combination of frame and lens. Frogskins in my opinion are 5 star shades for their high quality frame and lense, their lightweight appeal, their durability, their lens quality, and their great relaxed stye that works pretty well unisex. Oh and the visibility is great on them. I use them driving all the time. The polished white ruby iridiums are a good choice for a flashy pair although I tend to wear them as an everyday pair because they don't look trashy whatsoever, plus I'm in love with the cool blue tint of the ruby iridium. Definitely consider the ruby iridiums if they appeal to you! ... show more

I had been looking at the Frogskins for a while, and finally found them at the best price here. The fit and finish are as expected, pretty good, and the plastic looks and feels high-quality. My only complaint is that the lenses themselves are quite a bit more violet than the look like in the pictures, which I was not expecting. I was hoping for a more reddish tint. I was thinking about returning them for this reason, but everyone seems to think they look very well on me and I've grown used to the violet hue. I googled "What are the most inexpensive sunglasses I can buy that give you everything that an expensive pair of sunglasses provides?" This is one of the first ones that came up. I bought them for $70 (matte black/iridium lenses). They are not knockoffs and I love them. I have actually gotten a lot of compliments on these glasses, and they work and fit great. If you are looking for a durable and modern pair of sunglasses with vintage styling that does not squeeze your wallet, look no further.     • Classic design, great colors, long lasting.
I've owned Frogskins since the 90s, but this is only the third pair. Yes they are plastic but will last you a lifetime if you take care of them, and I wanted another pair because the first I ever owned got stolen. I bought another 10 years ago and I thought it's about time to get them in a new color scheme. I was not disappointed. These were super cheap and the sun has not bothered me one bit, even if they are non polarized. I am already looking for new colors. I feel like I am heading back to 1992 when I put them on. ... show more
