Have had these for a year now. finally lost them. They look great however when you tilt your head down they slip forward to the point of slipping off. It got to the point that it had become such a hassle I purchased silicone tips for the ends to hold them on. Let me be clear, they were not too large for my head. There simply was not enough of a "grip" to make them to stay on when I tilted my head down to see something. The temples were straight with no curve what so ever at the temple tips. I love the style but they would be more for occasion ware as opposed to casual every day. ... show more

    • Not authentic Oakley?
The media could not be loaded. Frames were misrepresented by photo. I have several Oakley Tie Bar .5 and the arms are not even close to my other originals. These do say they are made in China. Not sure if that’s the problem. Could be a manufacturing issue as well as style change that was undisclosed. Too much change in style for the high price point of 365.00! ... show more

    • Perfect Pair of Oakley Frames for a Fraction of Retail Price

My husband initially bought a pair of these frames from his optometrist and insurance covered the full retail price. After eye surgery, however, his prescription changed significantly and he was within the guarantee period to have the lenses replaced free of charge. The problem we encountered was that his optometrist needed to send the frame to the lab to have new lenses made, but he needed a pair of glasses to wear in the interim. Just our luck that optometrist no longer carried the same frame! We were happy to find this identical frame on Amazon for a fraction of the retail cost since this one (being his second frame in a calendar year) was an out-of-pocket expense for us. Better yet, it was exactly as expected, in standard Oakley packaging, and identical to his original frame in every way. ... show more
