I always loved the Horatio Cane look on CSI Miami and I equally loved the Issac Hayes look from my younger days. I also love and can afford Oakley sunglasses. (The ones those guys were wearing were completely out of my budget!!). So I searched the entire Oakley library and immediately flipped over these Whiskers!!!! They were exactly what I was looking for!!! Beyond being good looking they are extremely well made and solid. They have substantial weight for their size, and I'm confident that they won't fall off my face no matter what activity I engage in. I also got the Oakley sunglass leash kit, so that if my Whiskers weren't on my eyes they would be around my neck. No leaving them behind on some coffee table top! I have received a crazy amount of compliments on my new sunglass look, and am exceptionally pleased with my purchase!!! ... show more

    • Very small glasses, more on the petite size, Sent them back.
Firstly, like others mentioned, the packaging was HORRIBLE!! Seriously no excuse for the shipper/Amazon to put expensive glasses like these in nothing more than a lightly padded shipping envelope. I knew when I ordered, there was a risk they would be destroyed upon arrival after reading reviews, so I ordered and crossed my fingers. I did select to ship to one of the "Amazon lockers", and when I picked it up, the thin Oakley box inside was slightly dented, but not damaged. I don't know if selecting ship to a Amazon locker, had them handle this with a little more care or not, or perhaps I was just lucky. When I tried these on, they are very tiny, almost petite size. I am a taller but thin guy, and have a pretty narrow face, and these barely fit on, the lenses are also so narrow I could easily see light from bottom of lenses ,and the sides when I had them on. I liked the style initially, but the glasses are much smaller than I anticipated when they arrived. If you have a larger size head, these likely won't fit you very well. They were true Oakleys, was surprised at this price point, it didn't come with a hard shell case. The glasses themselves were nice and light, but didn't work for me, so I sent them back. I am getting the Oakley Conductor 6 on here, which a Oakley store rep confirmed were a larger lens size, so those should work for me Thanks ... show more

This is my husbands 3rd or 4th pair of these. They take quite a bit of abuse and stand up to it fairly well. They are lightweight and comfortable to wear.

This is my second pair of the blue whiskers. Both pairs distorted with in the first few months. They are fragile and don't put them on top of your head. Both nose pieces move very easy. I even took to them to a eye doctor/glasses to adjust them and nothing. They look good and ok for the sunlight. A shame for a pair of 260.00 Oakley glasses. The 19.99 glasses at the gas station are better than these! ... show more
