I'm 5'1", 132 lbs, 34D, and typically fall between a medium and large depending on the brand. When I opened the package, my first thought was that this medium would be too small. I was pleasantly surprised — it fit true to size through the shoulders and body width. The one drawback is the length. Both the sleeves and the torso run noticeably long. I'm also short-waisted, which makes this more apparent on me, but even accounting for that, this sweater runs long. It's not an oversized or slouchy fit — it's simply longer than expected in those two areas. This is a great sweater if you're not going for a boxy look. I was surprised by how thin the fabric is, but it's really warm despite that — this is 6% wool and softer than I expected. That said, the construction doesn't feel like the highest quality, so I'm not sure how well it will hold up over time. This is a beautiful dark Navy without purple undertones. For now, though, I'm really pleased with it. I'm taking off one star for the length in the sleeves and body, but overall this is a great sweater. ... show more

I ordered this item in black and medium size. I typically wear medium, occasionally going into large, depending on the brand. These fit true to size. I have a bit of a belly and it's loose enough that I don't feel TOO self-conscious about it. The fabric is very soft and lovely and washed well - however, I do want to note that I hang dry my clothes, so I cannot comment on how it'll come out of a dryer. I run hot and this is a pretty heavy fabric for me, so I most likely wouldn't wear it unless it's the middle of winter, but I'd say that it's probably too thin for most people to wear in the winter. The blue is a lovely cornflower blue that really pops – I was very pleased with that. The material (6% Wool,51% Viscose,43% Polyester) is pretty soft and I’d say a medium-weight. Not too warm, but definitely not a summer weight. This would be perfect for cooler fall or winter days. In terms of sizing, the small runs a bit large. For context, I’m a US size 2 and it’s quite large. Possibly because there’s no spandex, it’s a bit boxy. That could also just be the cut / style of the sweater – you can see in the photos that it’s boxy and comes straight down vs. having much shape. That’s why I gave it 4 vs. 5 stars. I like things that are a bit more tailored. But there are some nice details, and it’s pretty comfortable. It washes well (I can’t speak to how well it dries – I rarely dry anything – most things I hang to dry), and has retained the same degree of softness.
