    • Meh. Nice idea, not practical.
So this fastens well and LOOKS decent on the drone but isn't really practical. Keep in mind that this brings the total weight of your mini to over what requires registration so technically you need to now register your drone for legal flight. And for what? For a gimmicky, barely functional little device. While I suppose you could drop in a wedding ring to a service as long as you're there and close enough (probably NOT in a fancy box) it's not really practical for much less. But I mean.... it DOES work for that. And although you can still fly your drone to quite range (not as long because weight like this really affects battery life) you won't be able to drop the "freight" nearly as far away. Speaking of battery life, with something like this attached you need to be very aware that your auto return on low battery is not going to be reliable. If you want it to get back to you, you'd better have it well on it's way back or nearby to be sure that it makes it's way back and doesn't emergency land somewhere else. Worth it? Only if you're buying specifically for an interesting wedding ring presentation then no. Really not. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. This dropper drone attachment is definitely gimmick because of the limited weight it can pickup and the limited range the controller has to release the pin to drop the payload. This attachment is lightweight and is made primarily of plastic. The additional props you get are definitely a lower grade plastic compared to the original DJI props. With the leg stands and dropper tool attached, I have no doubt that all of it will break off in the event of a crash. The plastics are very thin. Attaching everything is pretty simple and is held by plastic clips. While everything worked, I would not recommend this for any serious work or application. ... show more
