I bought this suit in a size 8 for my very tall and slender 8 year old. The size 8 fits perfect, but won't last long for length. I expected this since he is close to a 10 in jeans. He's so thin though that I knew the next size up would be too loose, so it is very true to size. Before this suit, he would cry and shiver during swim practice and not participate. As soon as he started using this, he was able to stay in the water over an hour without complaint.
