Both my young boys have no problem with wearing these which as a parent is a win. Compared to other life vests they provide better range of motion. These are high quality and I would recommend for anyone getting repeated use out of.

This seems to be a well-made life vest. I have a tall and lean 8yo that hates getting her face wet, which means we’ve been putting off swimming lessons for our own sanity. Now, faced with a beach vacation, I wanted something that would be comfortable and that I could trust to keep her safe in the ocean (under supervision, of course). This is highly durable neoprene material—a $20 lifejacket from Target or Walmart, this is not. I like the addition of the handle on the top and the strap between the legs. I wish that there was a neoprene sleeve on that strap as I imagine that may rub the skin and make it sore. I might order something that will work on my own. I got it on sale for roughly $60 and that seems like an absolute steal. I will update after it’s been worn consistently. ... show more

Fits perfect with room to grow! My son is 2 years and 8 months. He’s 34lbs and 37” tall. We got this for our river trip. It’s perfect size for him at the tightest option. We used this for our 4 year old when we went swimming in a lake. The depth was 25 ft and his vest was absolutely amazing!!! I felt that he was very safe in this vest. He even jumped off the side of the boat and slid down a slide nonstop for days and only developed a slight rash behind his ears where the vest was rubbing (my daughter had a different material vest-cheaper- and it rubbed her raw doing the same activity). I have no complaints about this life jacket. My favorite is the handle on the back which allows you quick access for grabbing your child successfully out of the water. Despite the age/size on this, I found it to be slightly larger on my child but that doesn’t constitute for a lesser review. Everything about this is perfect!
