  • Good boots!
Style: Rider Boot Size: 12
So I haven’t been able to actually ride in them yet. However I can provide some insight. If you’re in between sizes. Go ahead and get the smaller size. I wear an 11.5 usually and got a 12 because I thought having it a little big wouldn’t hurt. But when I got them and tried them on, I was tightening the straps all the way down and my foot was still moving a lot! So I returned them and got the 11s instead and these fit great! They look pretty water resistant which is good. One thing I should mention (just because I didn’t think about it) is you’ll have to probably adjust your shift lever and brake lever. I sat on my bike and I couldn’t even put my toes under the lever to shift. But I’ll just adjust it and it should be good to go. I’ll update if I have any notable comments once I actually get to test these while riding. Edit: ok so I finally got around to riding with these on. I adjusted my shift lever so I can get my toe under it to shift. I’m going to tweak with it some more because I don’t think I can get enough of my foot under. One thing I noticed was I really couldn’t feel when I was shifting due to the thickness of the boot. So I was 100% guessing the entire time. I missed a few times shifting into neutral rather than 2nd. Also it was very muddy out! I was in about ankle to high shin deep mud a lot of the time! These boots kept like 95% of the water and 100% of the mud out! Also these provided great traction when I was trying to pull my bike out of a ditch or mud. They held up incredibly well! So as long as I can figure the shifting problem out, I’ll be good to go! ... show more

  • Exact fit and value for money.
Style: Rider Boot Size: 10
Bought these as an inexpensive replacement for current set. Very stiff, but should loosen up over time. Not as maneuverable to flex during shifting as top end boots but not top end price, so for getting into sport or to replace the occasional rider, highly recommended for fit and price.

  • Solid beginner boot
Style: Rider Boot Size: 13
Great entry level boot. Lacks higher end features like metal buckles, gore tex, or replacable soles. That being said they are still better than most entry boots. I'm a size 13 and they fit great. Also this boot is great for bigger legs and calves bc above the ankle is wider than others in the category. Support wise they are stiff, with a smidgen of flex at the ankles. I'd suggest walking around in them for a couple days before your first ride. This is an adv boot, so the sole is treaded, not slick like an mx boot, but stands up well to kickstarting. Overall, I am very happy. Would recommend. ... show more

  • Pretty hardcore boots
Style: Rider Boot Size: 10
The media could not be loaded. These might not be the most hardcore boots but they’re pretty close! Man, they are heavy - so much more protection than my other boots I was wearing. These seem like a great value for a lot of safety. They are easy to put on and remove and that’s a good thing because they are pretty hot. So yeah, hot heavy thick meaty …what I’d expect for good protection ... show more

  • Perfect.
Style: Rider Boot Size: 11
They've held up for me now for 2 years. i had a buckle on one break after about only 8 months and i called oneal, and they sent me a new one immediately. other than that, absolutely nothing wrong with them and i'm still using them regularly.

  • Saved my ankle during crash!
Style: Rider Boot Size: 11
Had these boots for about a month now. I was reluctant to buying them since many reviews said that they were not suitable for street riding. They were stiff in the ankle in the beginning, changing gears and breaking was difficult but with more use it becomes easier. Since I don’t ride that much, I’m still in the process of breaking them in. On a sport bike the gear shifter is small so it’s hard to put my foot under the lever, due to the bulk of the shoe at the toe. These are obviously dirt bike boots but I wanted something that would protect my leg if the bike was to fall on top of me. It’s understandable that they aren’t ideal for a sport bike, but it’s doable. Overall, I am satisfied with these boots! The other day, I was at an intersection and someone rear ended my bike, stopping the truck on my ankle by the time they realized they hit me. I couldn’t free my foot out from under the tire, but the rigidity of the boots protected me from all the weight of the vehicle. If I was in regular sneakers, my ankle would have been crushed! I am very thankful that I invested my money in these boots. Only damage to the boot was that the buckle popped off from the three screws that hold it in place, easy fix. Regardless of the incident, they are incredibly sturdy and I will continue to use these boots! ... show more

  • Inexpensive protection
Style: Rider Boot Size: 11
It's inexpensive protection considering this is a boot that goes up higher than a ski boot. The snaps are convenient to get off when you are tired and sweating. They seem very durable and give me confidence if I wash out on a gravel road that the boots would protect me. The challenge is, they are also potentially dangerous. ON their maiden voyage yesterday, I really struggled to shift up and down. I found myself slowly shifting from 1>2 and it often went into N instead. I also missed shifts several times up. Down, not a problem but up is a big challenge. They are just SO SO stiff that you really struggle. Also because they are so stiff I cant place them on my rear brake and cruise along on a dual sport. The shape kinda forces them to apply constant slight pressure to the brakes. So not having my foot on the rear brake is dangerous. I tried several times to learn to quickly put them on the brakes but just kept toe bumping the brake first. I was hopeful that alot of walking around and riding would break them in. I didnt ride that much on them so far, maybe a couple of hours but I did walk around the house with them first the night before and I also took a decent walk down a path to see where it went so as to not get stuck on my bike going off into the abyss. At the end of the day, the left boot started cutting into my foot where the foot meets the leg at the arch. So not the ankle but what that area is called where the top of the foot meets your leg. I cant imagine wanting to use these honestly. I really would consider them defective for the boot cutting into the foot. I have no prior experience with MX boots fyi. So this experience may be normal but from my opinion it's unsafe, not comfortable at all, hard to use. So I'm going to break open the wallet a little further on boots and try another pair and send these back. ... show more
