After buying a completely garbage broom from a big box store (HDX brand), I resorted to looking at reviews for broom (who knew that was a thing) and came across this well rated broom. Was skeptical as it shipped in pieces, but the three sections come together nicely and make for a sturdy broom. Does a great job with dirt and sand. Two minor complaints - wish it wasn't red. Sticks out like a sore thumb no matter where you stash it. #2, the dust pan has an extended handle to make it easier to use with your foot. While that is a nice feature, it makes the boom bulkier because it sticks out farther. Certainly not the end of the world and it does the job better than most. ... show more

Good quality. I love angle brooms and it gathers all you are sweeping up. The only downside is that I have to frequently screw the handle because it loosens. I guess the maker created it this way for easy shipping instead of one piece.

I bought this broom for our RV. We had a previous collapsable broom and it wouldn't stay put together! This broom screws together tight and stays in place as you sweep and easily breaks down to stow away. It sweeps up fine pieces of sand, lint, hair, and when the fuzz gets stuck in the bristles, secure the dust pan with your foot, pull the broom though the ridges in the dust pan and those big clumps of lint or hair scrape right off! We have 18 cats, hardwood & tile floors throughout the house with one rug. The amount of cat hair quickly turns into tumbleweeds, especially after brushing/combing sessions that quickly clog vacuums. We had a cheap hand broom & standing dustpan previously that was uncomfortable to use. The slight angle of this broom, full length, weighted handle and teeth on the dustpan to remove the cat hair from the bristles are spectacular! It takes much less time and effort to sweep the floors. I would prefer that the dustpan had a long handle, but that’s not a dealbreaker. Both the broom and dustpan are sturdy; I expect them to last for years.
