I'm using a pair of these + Corsair H55 coolers to handle my EVGA 1080 Ti FE cards. The installation wasn't too difficult (I misread the instructions initially concerning the use of the bracket which held me up for a few minutes), and the cooling performance has been excellent. My cards idle at 26 degrees, and never get past 42 under load. That's pretty serious cooling coming from upwards of 82 using the original blower fans. Now, for the reason I'm giving it 4 stars: SLI is not supported for GTX 10 series cards/the use of a rigid, 2 prong bridge/high-bandwidth bridge. If you use GTX 1080's or 1080 TI's in SLI, you are required to use a High Bandwidth Bridge. Well, if you use the NZXT G12, you cannot install the bridge. The mount blocks your 2nd SLI connector. The only solution is to physically modify the G12 with a pair of Tin Snips or a Dremel tool (which I have done), to allow the physical space required for the bridge to connect on both SLI connectors at once. This is, in my opinion, a blatant design flaw. Yes, for AMD users who don't need a bridge, or for older cards that only use a single-wide SLI bridge, it's not a problem, but NZXT had to/should have known that 10 series users would buy this product (especially since they officially claim support for 10 series cards), and so to not support double-width SLI bridges is quite frankly mind boggling to me. I have taken the liberty of informing NZXT, who assured me they'd pass on the info to their design department. To recap: Pros: Great cooling performance, and relatively easy installation Cons: No double-width SLI bridge support, requiring physical modification of the G12 mount if you use Nvidia 10 series cards in SLI. ... show more

So I was bored and decided to get this adapter and see if it'll make my Asus Strix 1070 (STRIX-GTX1070-8G-GAMING) run quieter and cooler. FYI, the Asus Strix is a custom PCB from Asus so it's not the reference PCB from Nvidia designs. To my surprise the adapter fits perfectly on the PCB and I didn't even have to remove the back plate which is definite plus. I have a Corsair H100i v2 AIO and it fits into the NZXT G12 adapter plate with no problems. After removing the Asus custom heatsink and fan, it was a straight and easy process to install the G12 and the H100i v2 pump head onto the card. Now the only real problem I ran into was the spacing inside my case. I use a Thermaltake V21 Core Micro ATX case and it sure wasn't pretty or easy to fit the GPU and the H100i v2 into my case, but I did put it in. I had to bend the hoses into some really hard places to get it all aligned nicely. I assume bigger case will not have this problem. IMO, if you can find another AIO liquid cooler compatible with the NZXT G12 adapter that has softer and more flexible hoses then I recommend you get those just to save you time and ease of installation into a smaller case. Corsair AIO liquid coolers have some of the stiff-ist hoses I have come across unfortunately. I'll put up some pictures, screen shots and temperature performances soon. ****Update 05/21/2017***** Very nice temps on my GPU. I have my card overclocked and I've been running Unigine Heaven on max settings for 15 mins and the GPU temps hover around 47C-52C. All the pump and fan settings on the H100i v2 are all set to Quiet settings (900RPM/1800RPM). The usual Asus Strix custom heat-sink and fan temperatures was usually around 67C with 40% fan settings when Heaven was running so it's a nice drop in temperature, but the noise levels are much lower now which is what I was originally aiming for. *****Update 05/23/2017***** I was actually able to squeeze out +5 mhz more on my previous +190 overclock on the GPU clock and +25 more on my +450 of the memory clock speeds due to the lower temps. Yay! So far games like Overwatch, Dying Light and XCOM2 and Ark Survival Evolved with somewhat maxed settings have not been able to push my GPU temps past 48C. However, I am only playing these games on 1080p as I don't have a 1440 or 4000k monitor. *****Update 05-25-2017***** I'm going to replace the Corsair H100i v2 with the NZXT x52 AIO. I am really not liking the awkward angles and stress the hoses are putting on the hose ends on the radiator and the pump. I feel like the way I have the hoses running and bending inside my case just causes way too much stress on those points and may cause my AIO to fail sooner than later. *****Update 05/29/2017***** My new NZXT x52 arrive today and I must say, I am starting to fancy NZXT products now. I'll keep this short as I'll probably put another review for the x52 on it's own page her on Amazon. Thanks to the pivoting outlets on the pump, softer and more flexible hoses it's easier to arrange, align and route the hoses plus because of this feature it doesn't cause stress on the joints when trying to put everything in a Micro ATX case. I guess every fits and works better when using the OEM parts, right? ... show more
