I purchased an Amazon Warehouse Return that was indicated as being in "acceptable condition". The item arrived in it's original box with many of the items never opened or seemingly touched. The unit had been mounted (the original thermal paste was removed) and was placed into what appears an intel system. I cleaned my item and applied new thermal paste without issue. The item had worked perfectly since installing with my temps running at their highest - 110 degrees while streaming online gaming. This thing is ridiculously good. I’m running an i9-9900KF overclocked to 5.2 GHz, and it sits around 23 C idle and 75 C under max load (Intel ETU stress test). The screen is nice for quick glances and aesthetics, to admire how well your system is holding up.     • Returned as first one didn't work. Second works great!
The first one I received was dead as it never turned on and the fans would not spin. After I got the second one, it was plug and play with no issues. Instantly turned on and the fans spun. I did have to turn off the aio pump detector in my motherboard as my motherboard didn't think I had one.

The NZXT Kraken Elite, takes everything you liked about the old NZXT Z series AIO coolers and makes it better. The cooler looks great, is easy to install, is very quiet, offers a minimalist aesthetic in either black or white colours and at a reasonable price with great features in a variety of sizes for all builds. I love the large matte display on this AIO. Having the ability to have a dual infographic for the temps of my CPU and GPU at a glance is awesome. This AIO requires use of NZXT’s CAM software which is either a blessing or a curse depending on your view point to me it’s lightweight and unintrusive so I have no issues with it. Via the CAM software you can also do really cool things like apply gifs to the screen customising the AIO to truly make it feel unique to your tastes and build. The AIO only needs one cable to function this time as opposed to the older Z series AIOs from NZXT which require multiple cables. Overall this AIO is my go to choice for my personal PC builds as the Kraken series has proven to me time and time again to be reliable and capable of doing its job well. Lastly if you don’t need a larger 60Hz display please buy the non-elite version of this AIO this use the same Asetek pump so your only paying for a better screen. Same goes for if you intend to use your own fans like me. I made the mistake of ordering the RGB version of this AIO when since I was using the Lian Li Uni Fans I should have just saved money and bought the non-RGB version. ... show more

The first time I received this item the thermal paste on the AIO had already been used and there was slight exterior damage to the radiator. The second time I received this item the radiator was faulty, but the LCD screen and the fans worked. Would not recommend buying this from amazon.
