I am totally new to contouring and didn’t want to end up looking like I had dirt all over my face or like pop art in my attempt in learning this makeup technique. In my research this product continued to come up as a great product for beginners. I was happy to find that applying was really easy. I felt I could control the amount of product I was putting on my face really well. The photo attached was my first attempt (before on left, after on right.) Although I was really conservative with the amount I used, I loved the subtle results. I’m excited to keep practicing contouring with this product!

This product is a fake....once i opened it i thought it did not look right then after comparing to my NYX wonderstick i got from target for about 12 dollars and doing research on the packaging im sure i received a fake knockoff product for all the reviewers that love it please try the real one you will be blown away its amazing.....anyway this sucks waste of money and lord knows what is in this thing in the trash it goes

I have so many contour kits that I stopped counting as I’m one of those women who think the more expensive a product is, the better it will make me look regardless of whether or not I know what I’m doing. And yeah - I’m laughing with you because we ALL know that couldn’t be further from the truth. Anyway, my MUA whipped out these little baby and proceeded to give me cheekbones and a jaw line like I had NEVER seen before! I’ve always been afraid of cream contour and blushes but after watching a ton of You-Tube tutorials, I am not going back to powder contour again. This stick is PEFECT for my basic contour and I can just use my fingers if I’m in a hurry to blend or I recommend one of the smaller Artis brushes. It works perfectly with my Glossier Cloud paints. Either way, I have 2 of these and am NEVER without one.

I'm a woman over 50 and we have very different makeup needs than younger women. I'm also very fair-skinned so finding contouring products that aren't too dark or too orange is a challenge. I like more of a light milk chocolate color which is difficult to find. I love NYX products so I felt comfortable trusting that the colors in this stick would be as good as shown in the pic. I wasn't disappointed. This has a very creamy consistency that is so easy to blend and it's the perfect shade for us fair-skinned women who don't want an overly dramatic contrast to our skin. It's medium-weight and not tacky or sticky at all. The light shade is a very natural cream color that lightens the areas it's applied to but not ghostly, pasty white. I use a brush to blend it out and it's very easy to blend. It lasts all day, even in the summer when I thought it would melt off. I had no break-outs with it or drying. I have dry skin and there were no dry patches where it was applied either. I used a powder contour (a different brand) before this and had a lot of trouble blending it. By the time I blended the edges the product was almost gone from my face. Not so with NYX. It took just a few seconds to blend out and it holds up well. Easy to remove with a Neutrogena Micellar makeup wipe. Love this product and will be re-ordering it when this runs out.

I’m torn between two sides. When I first saw this on Amazon I was excited. With the exception of eye shadow I’m not a fan of glitter makeup. These are not glitter! So I decided to go ahead and buy four sticks. I love Nyx Makeup so what could go wrong. They arrived super fast and were packaged well. I opened up all four for an immediate inspection and chose one to use the same day. First I tried the darker shade for the contour. Very easy to control, super rich and creamy. The contour side glides on perfectly and blends super smooth with the rest of my makeup. Next are the highlights. I flip the stick around and begin with the center of my nose. Immediately I realized something is not quite right. The stick is picking up my foundation and my correcting shade! Now instead of a highlight of brightness, I have red blotches on my nose! OMG!! Now what? I try wiping off the highlight side (foundation and correcting colors) and give it a try on my forehead but now it’s doing it again! Ugh! I try wiping it off on a paper towel but I’m depositing more product on the paper towel than on my face! Another thing strange is that it feels greasy. Almost as if the highlight side is a gooey greasy stick of butter. I’m not sure what if anything I am doing wrong with this stick. I’m totally in LOVE with the contour side. Seriously. It’s so easy to use and I would recommend this product if not for the highlight side. It’s not a total waste of money but I didn’t buy it for only one side to work and one not. I’m hoping that I can return the other three within the return window. I guess we’ll see as only time will tell. I hope you have better luck than me.

I have fair/light skin complexion and the light/medium color was PERFECT! I am just getting into contouring. When I saw it in the tube I thought it looked kind of dark, but it blended so easily and looks amazing. It just gives a slight shadow like contour is supposed to. This is my first cream contour. The only other contour I've used is the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. It looks pretty but sometimes when I have a full face of makeup it can look cakey if I put setting powder over it because I tend to get very oily. I don't have that problem with the NYX stick. I think the NYX actually looks better and more natural because it's a contour and not a bronzer. I was intimidated about trying a cream contour because they can look dark until you blend it, but I'm so glad I tried this! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a contour. I bought this and the Wet N Wild contour/highlight stick and this is much better. The Wet N Wild was a similar color, slightly darker, but it was much thicker and didn't blend near as easily. I gave it to my 7yr old to put in her makeup to use when she's playing dress-up around the house. I will only be using the NYX from now on!!
