I’ve been trying so hard to find a cool toned contour stick and everything I bought was too red or orange or bronze looking. This contour and highlight stick is so amazing! The contour is cool toned and I got the shade “01 fair” and it’s perfect! I think it would work for anyone from a fair complexion to medium complexion. I’m not even that fair and it looked good on me. And the highlighter is so pretty and so pigmented! I’m happy with this product and you can’t beat it for $11. It definitely feels far better than an $11 makeup item. Also, I specifically chose the shade “fair” because of how cool toned it looked online. And I usually don’t buy anything in fair. So again , I think it would work for many different complexions. And the formula is so creamy and easy to apply. Nothing is worse than getting something that is dry and hard to apply. I’ve bought a second one because I liked it so much. I am not somebody who watches makeup tutorials or goes crazy for the latest makeup trend. So for me this product has been easy to use; I like using the highlighter end to lighten up the inner corners of my eyes, and the bronzer side is more subtle when rubbed in under my cheek bones than other bronzers I’ve used. Pretty versatile. Although I will say they break easy or can become cakey if you’re layering makeup. I have fair/light skin complexion and the light/medium color was PERFECT! I am just getting into contouring. When I saw it in the tube I thought it looked kind of dark, but it blended so easily and looks amazing. It just gives a slight shadow like contour is supposed to. This is my first cream contour. The only other contour I've used is the Physicians Formula Butter Bronzer. It looks pretty but sometimes when I have a full face of makeup it can look cakey if I put setting powder over it because I tend to get very oily. I don't have that problem with the NYX stick. I think the NYX actually looks better and more natural because it's a contour and not a bronzer. I was intimidated about trying a cream contour because they can look dark until you blend it, but I'm so glad I tried this! I would absolutely recommend this to anyone who wants a contour. I bought this and the Wet N Wild contour/highlight stick and this is much better. The Wet N Wild was a similar color, slightly darker, but it was much thicker and didn't blend near as easily. I gave it to my 7yr old to put in her makeup to use when she's playing dress-up around the house. I will only be using the NYX from now on!! ... show more

I am very fair-skinned with cool undertones, and I struggled for years to find a product that wasn't orange on my skin. I bought this stick in the shade 'Fair' on a whim a few years ago, and I am thrilled with the results. The contour is cool-toned and creates a very natural shadow that accentuates my cheekbones without bringing a color that is unnatural to my skin tone; I've even gotten compliments on it, which is a real testament to the product because my contouring ability is quite limited. I love the highlighter, as well. It gives a great and very natural glow that is appropriate for any occasion, including work, and I find myself reaching for it frequently. The formula of the stick is very creamy and easily blendable--in fact, I prefer to blend the highlighter with my fingers, though I do use a brush for the contour. The stick also lasts an extraordinarily long time, as well (I think I've had mine for a year now), making the product very cost-effective. If you are looking for a cool-toned contour that won't turn you orange, this is it! ... show more

NYX took this one away and replaced it with the one with the blue packaging, which has a different formula for the brown contour!! it’s ORANGE. So glad this is the original amazing brown color for my eyes :)
