I have pretty thick brows and i can assure you this product is true to it's name. doesnt leave any greasy feeling and its super light on the brows. i would totally reccomend this one if you have naturally thick brows and you are looking for a preppy and clean finish.

This brow gel definitely lives up to the “control freak” name. It keeps everything in place and does the job well, especially for the price. My only issue is that if I accidentally touch my brows during the day (which apparently I do more than I thought), it can ball up a little. Very good. Lasts a long time you only need a little bit to last all day! Does look weird/gooy when wet tho (ive worn it during a workout and this happened) But would reccomend!

The texture itself is not bad, but it takes a long time to dry and doesn’t set instantly. The brush is very uncomfortable—too fluffy—so it’s impossible to go through each hair and give it a nice shape. I had to use a different brush with a thin tip to coat each hair with gel and style it properly.

    • Smells like GLUE!!!

I recently started using brow gel to tame my thick eyebrows. The first product I used was honestly top tier and laid my brows perfectly, all day. When I ran out, I decided to try NYX to save a few bucks. Bad decision. I was initially excited when it arrived but that quickly turned into disappointment when I opened the product. It smelled very similar to Elmer’s glue. And the application brush was larger than I expected, making it a bit cumbersome to apply without somehow being in my way. The gel went on clear, and didn’t really lay my brows down like the product I used before. Day One of using the gel, a colleague noticed white flakes in my brows. It was the gel flaking up. I’m still not ruling out the possibility that this product has some kind of glue in it. I’m dissatisfied, but I’m glad I was at least able to compare the good with the not so good. Next time, I’ll spent the extra ten bucks for the better product. I do not recommend this and will not buy it again. ... show more
