are we using the same product? why sm five star reviews lol i have thicker brows so this don’t really work for me. it’s a very soft hold. a plus would be that it’s not flakey or leave white residue. i liked the bigger wand but barely any product comes out of the tube. idk if i got a bad one but this ain’t my cup of tea i need a strong hold laminated brow look and this jus don’t do that

I use the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade for my brows, and while I love the color and shape it can give my brows, I hate that it smudges easily. Grabbed this on a whim one day and it definitely helps to set my brows in place and keep my brow makeup from moving and smudging. I've had more expensive brow setting gels recommend this to me but this one does the job on a budget. EDIT: After purchasing and using this stuff for 2-3 years, I've found one caveat with it. You NEED to apply it in very short, very precise strokes, because while it is still wet, it will drag the color of whatever brow product you have on underneath, along with it. If you try to drag this product over your brow in one long sweep, and you're wearing a brow gel/pomade underneath already, this product can cause unsightly smudges you may have to wipe off after you've already done a careful job on your foundation. Short, precise strokes do the job without moving your color too far from where you've already applied it. Still does a great job locking brows in place though.

My first use of this gel was okay; it held nicely throughout the day. However: You know in elementary school, when you'd put liquid Elmer's Glue on your palm, let it dry, and peel it up like second skin? That's what this was, but in my eyebrows. I wore it to work *one* day, and went to the bathroom around lunch just to take it off; luckily it came off with water and a paper towel, otherwise I'd have been screwed. Kind of disappointing, because I've had luck with this brand (other products) before. Just won't be getting this product again...
