I saw this tool in a YT video on making a caged bead, and since I was trying to make a spiral "S" shape in wire, I decided to buy one. I was amazed at its superb grip strength and pressure! There's no comparison to the leaf-spring version of this item! I'm very pleased with my purchase so far.

The jaws on these are more effective at holding the item evenly and they are more powerful than any other pair of nylon jaw pliers I've ever had. Although it does not deter me from using or recommending the pliers I wish the manufacturer would put some kind of non-slip grips on the handles.

Would not recommend these. Cheaply made. The are not smooth to operate... sticks when squeezed. The jaws do not line up at the tip, so not good for detail work. This is also the case along the sides. Expected better quality for $21.

    • Awesome for holding small metal workpieces
Awesome for holding a small aluminum piece for grinding and sanding, without marring the held surfaces, which is exactly what I needed. The only thing that would make these better is if they would lock, like vise grips or locking pliers. As a workaround, I "lock" these pliers by putting a doubled hair elastic around the handles to hold the jaws shut, which has worked. ... show more

    • Great light duty flat nose plier
Felt good, spring open but easy to close the jaws. Using to hold roll pins. Jaw cover provides a sturdy, firm grip without damaging the parts. This isn't a channel lock grip but works well for light duty and it's intended purpose. Highly reccomend.

    • Best one of these I’ve ever owned!
I am a jewelry maker, and have gone through at least a dozen of these types of pliers over a 10 year period. These are sop far, by far, the best ones I’ve ever used. In fact, I’m going to buy another pair to have as backup in case at can’t found these if/when I need a new pair!

    • Buy something quality, not these
They slip and seem to be hobby grade at best. Super ugly kids pattern on the handles but mostly they don’t work well enough to keep around.
