When my beloved Uncle passed away, his girlfriend gave me his coveted Turquoise ring. I eventually gave that ring years later to my adult son. I wanted to buy another such similar ring, for me to proudly wear, but I needed to measure the size of some of my fingers. I bought this ring finger gauge set and I am glad that I did. The rings to measure the size of your fingers with, are all made of good steel and they come connected and held together by a small steel loop of braided cable. Quality constructed for the price and easy to use them. I was able to accurately measure every finger on both of my hands. However, my thumb being a guy is bigger, but not huge-huge, but it was too big to be measured by the largest of the ring loops. I was mostly curious just to know the size of ring for my thumb, but not of deal breaker. I would highly recommend purchasing this set if you wish to measure yourself for a particular ring size on whatever finger you want to wear that ring or multiple rings on your hand or hands. I believe that this set have two sizes to measure any finger. So if your index finger is a size 7, your set will have a loop that is size 7 and the next bigger loop a size 7.5 and so on going either way up or down in size. However, The half sizes are not marked as half sizes, for instance for a size 7, you will have both loops sizes here stamped as with a 7, but the second bigger loop has also been stamped with a 7 on it and is the half size up as in this case being the 7.5, so keep track on that as you measure your fingers. My only recommendation here is the manufacturer would add to this set a few more larger ring sizes above its highest/largest size 13 or 14. This set would make a great gift for someone in your family or a friend, because its the kind of gift that makes you wish you had such a tool to measure your fingers with. I would have loved having this ring set many years ago in fact. So yep, they fit like a charm and I can't wait to buy me some cool rings now off the internet or from a jeweler in town. Thanks, James

It offers full and half sizes but it’s hard to see the engraved sizes on the rings. It definitely came in handy for proper ring sizing when 2 of my rings were too tight.

As I age, some joints are larger. I wanted to order rings for different fingers. This gadget has helped me measure fingers accurately so that rings never need to be returned because of incorrect size. PLEASE NOTE: if the ring is a wide band, order 1/2 size up.

I should have purchased this a long time ago! I'll find a ring that I like just in the spur of the moment and I don't get it because I'm not sure what size to get. So I miss out on something I really like. Now, I can measure my ring size whenever I want and the price is right!

Bought this so I can gauge my weight loss progress in my ring finger for my boyfriend to have legitimate sizing for when it’s time to buy a ring. He’s waiting on me. I’m waiting on my body to continue to shed weight lol. I would size yourself a quarter size up, though when comparing the thinness of the sizer versus actual rings with stones on it. I can fit a 7.5 on the sizer but need larger in rings because of surface coverage. Weird to explain idk if I’m using terms correctly but, otherwise very useful to keep on hand!
