This was a great, economical upgrade from my stock lights. Much brighter and whiter. I was concerned because some reviews mentioned having to modify them to fit, but they fit my Jeep TJ perfectly. I did have to re-aim the new headlights, but it was all very simple.

You might want to get the European headlight adjustment screws. The first night that I was out driving with these, I kept getting high beams flashed at me as if I had my high beams on. It's a little annoying to see the individual LEDs in the Halo. I know,I know - it's because they simply put alternating white and orange LEDs in the ring. Nonetheless, it's a distraction. If you have turn signals with a daytime running Halo on them as well, you will definitely want to run a separate wire on its own fuse for both of the halos. I currently have the AEV programming module (from when I did my lift kit). One of the options with that module is to enable full-time parking lights while driving during the day (basically activates my turn signals wholes it's in gear). With that option enabled there is no chance of having white daytime running halos and only orange halos when the turn signal is activated. It appears as if the option with that module activates the turn signal filament not the parking light filament. In the end I have orange halos on the headlights AND the turn signals. ... show more

I didn't know a lot about car lights for a Jeep 2001 but I do now.....Unless these lights were totally installed wrong(don't think so) the low beam does not light up directly in front of your Jeep. I mean on a dark road you can not see about 50 ft in front of you...You can see past that although. If you notice there is a black bar separating the low and high beam. That bar does not allow the light to be cast down directly in front of your Jeep... For me that is a Biggie. ... show more
