I buy and test a lot of phones to compare performance between brands and other general specifications. For under $100 this phone is a great value. The camera is only so so but perfectly functional - however people buying a phone at this price point probably aren’t concerned about top line picture quality. The call quality and battery life are excellent as is the 128 Gig of storage. The phones 1.6 GHz processor combined with four gigs of actual RAM and four gigs of additional virtual RAM move the phone along nicely for multitasking 3-4 tasks without issue. I really like the fact that the phone came with not only a charger and cable, but a functional screen protector and case. That alone saves $10-$15 in extra cost. Note this phone only supports T-Mobile and its resellers in the US. So no AT&T or Verizon. But if you want this for a backup phone or for a high school student it’s an excellent choice as lots of Tmobile resellers (like Tello and Metro by Tmobile) offer a range of cost-effective prepaid plans that won’t break the bank. The phone is 4G only but I had no problems getting a strong signal for calls and respectable download speeds. I think NUU is onto something with quality build low cost phones that meet a variety of consumer needs. I plan to buy a few other models of their phones to see if performance is just as consistent but I’m very pleased with this purchase. As a last point this phone is dual SIM, and also supports a microSD card to expand storage if you only use one SIM card.

No service after 6 months!! The phone doesn't recognize the sim card so no calls, no texts nothing after 6 months. The flashlight broke in the first month.

Okay so I have only had this phone a few days, but here is what I will say: 1) Build quality: Decent. Its actually a metal exoskeleton and feels more like a quality phone than most Samsungs. Its heavy and feels damn sturdy. I haven't dropped it but the aluminum siding feels great in the hands. The button responsiveness is okay as well. 2) Speed: I purchased this for an elderly person, so speed wasn't a number one priority. But after using this phone it feels fairly snappy and quick in the operating system. Videos play well, texting and other things work great. I am sure this isn't built for gaming or anything, buut for normal day to day use? Seems pretty good. 3) Price. You cannot beat $79 for a phone. I was expecting a piece of junk but this is easily better than some of the BLU phones I have tried that are 3-5 times the price. 4. Photos/Picture Qaulity: The screen quality is pretty good. Its not super high defintion, but for 1080p viewing and video its 100% fine. Photos taken are not iPhone or Samsung high end quality but with fairly good light they are pretty good. I wouldn't get this if you are wanting super high quality pictures, but for Instagram/Facebook posting? The photo quality is great. My advice? If you have a young kid/teen or elderly person or just want a throw-around phone, get this. When a phone is this cheap, its easy to just replace instead of paying $100+ to get a screen repaired. As long as they aren't gaming, doing photo journalism or need to use the phone for 48 hours straight.. this is a great deal for the money.

I bought this phone as a back up phone and also as a travel phone for when I go to certain areas that aren't the safest places to be. It is dual sim so that when outside the country a local area sim card can be purchased and easily installed to accomadate your needs. I put a prepaid simple mobile sim card in it and it works just fine. It's not the fastest phone around but still does the job it needs to do. It comes with a screen cover pre installed and I like the flexible case it comes with. It doesn't have an esim feature but that usually isn't expected on a phone priced this low. As far as being a phone for a teenager, well...... (A) Teenagers need to do their homework and not be on the phone. (B) They need to clean their room. (C) They need to help out with the yard work. Still this is a decent phone and can be used for just about anybody. A great burner, a back up phone that is good enough for those on a budget. It definetly deserves a good review!

Great phone for the price but doesn't do everything I need unfortunately. I may be spoiled by the Samsung Galaxy software and hardware but that is what I am comparing this with since I really wanted this phone as a back up phone for the family. Pros: 1. price obviously 2. it functions with the google environment (installs apps from the playstore, etc.) 3. decent battery life (I easily got a day of use) 4. looks slick and great fit and finish 5. LTE /VoLTE 4 connects well and works Cons: 1. camera is no good; most pictures come out very blurry and the resolution is low 2. screen is not as clear or bright as any Samsung phones I have had over the last 5-6 years 3. it's definitely slower than the newer phones from Samsung, just loading apps, text, etc. takes noticeably longer; forget about multi-tasking 4. speakers sound tinny 5. the UI is not as clean as Samsung's UI and some of the functionality only works at best 50% of the time, like extended unlock 6. the Bluetooth is not as good, it fails to connect to my car reliably (phone as a key function is also unreliable about 50% of the time) 7. gets weak signal in many places where my older Samsung phones work great, so must be something with the hardware 8. some apps won't install because playstore things the phone is not in the US 9. forget multi-tasking like streaming a podcast while doing other things - it unloads most apps from its RAM if you switch to another app, so 2-step authentication won't work either because the one you switched out of has to reset and that means requiring another verification code Suggestion: get a used more recent Samsung or other top brand if you want to save money
