The can looks good, but I don't want to open it right now to try out the product since it is expensive and have it for emergencies. I can only go by the company's reputation and the good reviews they have received. I do need to say that if you have a new Amazon delivery person who is not following your delivery instructions, wait until that problem is resolved before you buy this. I had/have a new delivery person who had not been following instructions and the person left this in the wrong place, in the sun. By the time I got it, it felt like it had been in an oven. The directions say to store in a cool, dry place. All I can do it hope, in an emergency, the food will be fine.

I like it as a mini snack. Be careful of the portions and take with water. Serving size is 1/2 cup, but it's so good you may have trouble stopping the munching on these. I also like that I can use these as a training treat for my dogs.

Due to being dehydrated/freeze dried, these cuded taters lose all density when hydrated, but they taste fine. In fact they taste just like a raw potato straight out of the can. Once hydrated they fry up nicely, or can be used for tater cakes etc. Not recommended for soups though due to texture, which is an unavoidable consequence of being freeze-dried. I'de buy these again, and the high quality has me thinking of trying some of this brands products!
