  • This IS a good Product
Color: Milk
This comes in handy when you run out of milk, simply add a couple table spoons in a glass and add water. It last great. It's also great for cooking!

  • Peace of mine survival staple
Color: Eggs
Haven't eaten it - can't vouch for the taste. I wanted some freeze dried, long shelf life options and this was it at a very good price point. The can was in great shape and will happily eat whatever is inside of/when a situation of which magnitude calls for it. Better to have some than none in case things go off the rails and needing to get for a few weeks to a few months. If I run out after that, then so be it. As far as I'm concerned it's 5* for the peace of mind and cost. If it tastes terrible but allows for some days or survival in a disaster, then it's money we'll spent IMHO. Store some salt/pepper and Tabasco with it though - just in case. ... show more

  • Good for Backpacking
Color: Potato
Besides being difficult to open, I made potato soup with this, added some dehydrated butter and milk, my son loves it for backpacking trips. The added nutrition is really great.

  • A must have.
Color: Milk
The seal, lid, and can came in perfect condition, no dents or damage. The "best by" date (which is not an expiration date, by the way) is in 2049, I'll likely be dead by then. I recommend this for a couple of reasons. Firstly, many shelf-stable foods are a form of dry goods: cereals of various types, granola, nutritional bars, crackers and tabs that tend to be very dry, freeze-dried fruit and pancake mix, etc. Lot of dry carbs. Wouldn't it be nice to have some milk with them, if for nothing else than to make them more easy to swallow? One can sure get tired of plain water or Tang-like MRE style sugary drinks as well. Granola and "orange drink" isn't great, nor is cereal and plain water. Secondly, in an emergency, especially long-term, you may have to eat whatever is available - whether it is what you have on hand or can scrounge, or foraged/hunted/fished/trapped natural food; leading to nutritional deficits. These are all good foods, but don't have everything. This milk is packed with vitamins and nutrients that will help fill some of these nutritional gaps, and/or "supercharge" what you get elsewhere. If food is scarce, this milk will help keep you going and potentially help you from becoming ill. I like that this is made in the USA. Companies in a country I won't name once added melamine to baby formula to artificially raise it's apparent protein levels and poisoned infants so I will only buy US and alternately EU-made goods of this type. One quibble I have with the listing is that it is variously described as both 50 and 60 servings. It is 50. I won't take a star off for it, but it should be corrected so people aren't mislead. I plan to get more foods such as their potatoes and tomatoes from this brand, to further boost the nutritional value available from my "stash". Try to have as much variety as possible, particularly if certain nutrients are lacking in wild foods in your region. There is a level of trust here because I'm not opening it til I need it, but if it is close to what is described I highly recommend having it on hand. There are historians that believe that the Mongols ability to digest milk, a high quality food full of protein, was instrumental in their success over water and rice-consuming opponents from the Danube to the Sea of Japan. I'm certainly not going to argue with Genghis Khan. ... show more

  • Will buy again
Color: Eggs
Haven’t used yet but bought for when needed in an emergency like national emergency or shelves empty and nothing coming in for days or weeks but you never know it’s for the time needed or camping and you what to use then
