I bought this to replace my blender that would occasionally leak. I like that there are is less to clean. I can drink my smooth straight from the container instead of pouring it into a glass. I don't have to dismantle the entire unit to wash every time, takes up less counter space and much quieter than a regular blender. However the container/cup is awkward to hold because the width is bigger than a regular glass and the material has a slick feel to it. Otherwise, I'll be keeping it and donating my blender. I had a really expensive cuisinart blender forever, eventually fell apart after years of daily use (smoothies every morning). Then I had a Ninja -- but it was SO loud and after a year or so I had to get rid of it. Everyone says this is a great blender... It is definitely QUIETER. I love that it came in a pretty blue color. It's strong. But it is ANNOYING in 3 ways: the gasket can come loose and putting it back in takes 30 seconds, just frustrating. It can leak (I've had mine 6 months and it has leaked 3 times) -- I think it's related to the gasket not being put back in perfectly? And the last but MOST annoying is it can "slip" off the pressure points and get jammed / stuck in on mode. I give up. Going back to a crazy expensive blender. ... show more
