This feels so strong and heavy, needed a chain that could take some beating. Use to have a dainty chain that broke in three different places. I now understand what they mean when this is solid and not hollow. So sparkly with the diamond cut too. The 16 inch chain works as a choker for a 5ft 100lb lady. I weighed my 16 inch 3mm gold chain I got as 11g on the scale and I paid about $800 with tax included. I also got it the next day, fast shipping, ordered Monday and came Tuesday by 10am, they originally said Wednesday. Not a jeweler or any kind of an expert other than owning several other gole chains. Item came as described, measured the 16" as listed, weight fell in the average as I read on other reviews. Never purchased my other chains based on anything other than was it marked 14-18k and I liked the way they looked. So.....I'm happy with my purchase and I would consider making an other purchase from this company.....as long as gold stays relatively affordable..... ... show more

Make sure you weigh it. I purchased the 18" 3mm 14kt rope chain advertised at 12.7 grams +/- 5%. First necklace showed up weighed 9.9 grams. On their invoice paper they ask you to be open with them and let them try and fix any issues if they arise. I contacted them and within 1 week sent the first chain back and recieved one that weighed 12.6 grams. I guess they have issues using different jewlers sometimes. All in all I recieved the advertised product and love it! Checked with local jewler and everything checks out great. Good deal for the weight probably would have paid double in store. Just make sure you weigh it but if its short they will work with you and get it right! Which is a positive trait for a company! ... show more

I originally went to Kay jewelers and purchased a 20" 3mm hollow gold rope chain necklace for $720 out the door. It weighed 3.7 grams. When i got home i started to realize how cheap the hollow chain felt and how much i paid for it. So i searched on Amazon and read some reviews on NuraGold. Figured i would take a chance and buy a 20" 3mm SOLID gold rope chain necklace, since it was only $200 more!. This chain looks just as good if not better than Kays and it weighs 13.8 grams! The clasp feels a bit stronger as well. Doesnt make sense to pay for the brick and mortar name when you can get just as good of a product for less than half the price. This necklace would have cost almost $1400 at Kays. Glad i made the purchase, now to go return the necklace that feels like cheap costume jewelry lol ... show more
