  • Great keyboard!
Size: Raspberry (46gf) Color: White
My wife loves this. The sound is creamy. The quality of the keyboard feels good and weighty. Feels well built. We've had this for a couple of months now and it has not given us any problems.

  • Great keyboard when plugged in, wireless is okay
Size: Raspberry (46gf) Color: Blue
Great sound and feeling, wireless connectivity could use some work. Looses connection when using the receiver sometimes. I bought two of these. Both have the same wireless inconsistencies. They will randomly "lag" when using them wirelessly. You will type and nothing will happen for a about 2 or 3 sec then all inputs will show up. Tested with at least 6 different systems with the same issue. Wired has 0 issues. One of them ended up with 3 dead switches after 4 months. The other has no issues after 14 months so far. ... show more

  • So great I’m buying a second one
Size: Raspberry (46gf) Color: White
I have never loved a keyboard more. The raspberry switches are so creamy right out of the box. The keys feel great as I type. Pairing was easy. The RGB options are beautiful. I am obsessed with this keyboard. I took it to work, and now I want a second one for home. I have had so many compliments from coworkers who walked into my office and immediately commented on how great the keyboard sounds. 10/10 no notes. ... show more

  • La sensación de los switches
Size: Raspberry (46gf) Color: Green

  • Good product
Size: Raspberry (46gf) Color: White
DO NOT BUY. I purchased both the Air 96 V2 and the Halo 96 V2. After just 1 year and 2 months of use, the Bluetooth stopped working on both keyboards at the same time. I updated the firmware on the Air 96 V2 trying to fix the issue, but that only made things worse—macros no longer work properly. I contacted NuPhy support and received no meaningful help. Their customer service was unresponsive and unhelpful. Very disappointed with the product quality and the lack of support. I would not recommend this company. ... show more

  • Tried Keychron, used apple for years. This is incredible!
Don't read any other reviews! ONLY THIS ONE I'm a video engineer who's constantly using different keyboards and this thing is 10/10 incredible. Coming from an Apple Magic Keyboard this thing is a dream.

  • Fantastic Keyboard Right Out of the Box (with a few minor drawbacks that won't affect most folks)
TLDR: The Nuphy Halo96v2 (with Raspberry switches) has been my work keyboard for about a year and a half now and I still absolutely love it. I truly think it's still one of the most premium pre-built mechanical keyboards on the market. I've been perfectly happy with the keyboard since unboxing and I've only just recently started experimenting with different switches and configuring shortcuts. There have been some learning curves with the software experience, but ultimately I would still absolutely recommend it as a fantastic pre-built hot-swappable option for those wanting to give mechanical keyboards a shot. ~*SWITCHES*~ -PROS: The fact that this keyboard sounds and feels amazing right out of the box is incredible and it legit makes my work day more bearable. The Raspberry switches are so smooth and easy to type on for long periods of time, so my productivity at work has been great. I also bought this keyboard for my roommate with the Mint switches and can confirm that they're even smoother and faster, so I've been considering investing in a batch of Mints myself. It's also hot-swappable, so I've been able to try all kinds of different switches out on this keyboard! The RGB plays off the colors of the switches, so you can achieve some really interesting and fun gradients by trying out different switches and placements. -CONS: None! ~*KEYCAPS*~ -PROS: I've heard some folks say they don't care for Nuphy's mSA keycaps profile, but I honestly LOVE it. I cannot STAND how sharp the edges are on most popular keycap profiles like OEM & Cherry, so the rounded edges and slightly lower SA-style profile of the mSAs make for a great middle ground that worked really well for me personally. -CONS: None! ~*RGB*~ -PROS: I love the halo light around the border, especially because it has it's own unique RGB modes and isn't just a bunch of static plain colors. The colors themselves are more standard rainbow colors than the rest of the keyboard, but you can still change the brightness and saturation which I thought was a nice touch. I was also really impressed to see that you can adjust the saturation at all, so you can get some really nice looking pastel colors. -CONS: We've noticed that occasionally when attempting to adjust the brightness on my roommate's keyboard, the RGB will just turn off or on instead of brightening or dimming. Not too big of a deal though, turning it off/on and/or trying a different connection method, like switching from Bluetooth to USBC, usually resolves it. ~*CASING*~ -PROS: Premium look and feel! It has a nice weight that keeps it steady and firm on your desk and the aluminum top casing has a really cool finish that doesn't get easily scratched up. -CONS: Experimenting with the Gem80 has helped me narrow down my preferences and I'm learning that I prefer a bouncier/softer mount, so I was hoping to try out the Halo without a few of the pre-installed foams to see if it was a little easier on the fingertips. But the Halo case is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to disassemble LOL Nuphy has a Youtube video disassembling the first version of the Halo, but I couldn't find anything for the V2. I did eventually come across a very helpful and detailed walk through on Reddit, but I ultimately gave up because it requires an enormous amount of carefully applied force to a very specific spot on the inside of the case and I just didn't want to risk breaking it. This shouldn't be an issue for most folks because, again, it sounds and feels delightful as is! But if you're the kind of person who wants to be able to try out a lot of different mods (and can live without a numpad), I'd recommend the Gem80 instead! ~*SOFTWARE*~ -PROS: Once you figure it out, VIA is pretty intuitive to use and I've had a lot of fun configuring shortcuts like "lock computer" and "open calculator"! -CONS: Nuphy advertises most of their keyboards as being QMK/VIA compatible, which is technically true, but it's a little more complicated than I think most folks would assume after reading that. To be fair, Nuphy does have helpful instructions on how to use VIA on their site, but just for anyone who's curious, you basically will need to: 1. Connect your keyboard via USBC. 2. Find and download the Halo96v2 JSON file on Nuphy's site. 3. Open VIA and click "Show Design tab" in the Settings. 4. Load the JSON file in the Design tab. SIDE NOTE: If none of the changes you make seem to actually be applying, check which Layer you're on because Mac and Windows (& Linux) are configured to different layers so you might be making changes to the wrong layer. ~*BATTERY & CONNECTIVITY*~ I can't offer much feedback on this front because I usually keep it connected via USB C, but I've had no issues with the Bluetooth and dongle connections when I've tried them in the past. ... show more
