The truck is smaller than it seems advertised, but it is still extremely fun to zip around with. For it's size, it's pretty fast and it's very durable. I've crashed it several times and rolled it several times and not one thing has broken. The remote is also very comfortable and easy to use. Straight out of the box, I realized the rear tires were angled in towards each other, but it doesn't seem to have much of an effect on the truck. It's also advertised that it comes with 2 batteries. I only received 1 battery and it seems like a common issue. Very few people actually got 2 batteries. It's very easy to lean how to use and is great for beginners. I was surprised at how fast this could go. I love the speed potentiometer on the remote control. My youngest can drive it comfortably on the slower speed while I can crank it up to a higher speed. ***Even though there are multiple pictures showing that it comes with TWO batteries, the reality is, that it only comes with one. I expected two based on the photos. I love how fast it is, but I assume the first time it rams into something that it will shatter as it does not seem very sturdy. The media could not be loaded. Purchased for my teenage son. The photos I’m adding are from his birthday and a couple days after. We were excited to try this vehicle but when we opened the package I was really worried about the outer shell of the truck. It’s super thin and brittle plastic. I was right. It does not hold up to the speed it’s made for Pros: speed and maneuvering, It’s really fun to race and drive around. Pretty fast but has a low and high speed option. battery life is pretty long as well. Cons: the outer shell of the vehicle is a thin brittle type plastic. It scratches and breaks very quickly. Unless the truck shell never touches the ground I don’t know how you could keep it from breaking. It also has 4 small pins on the truck shell. These need to be removed Everytime you charge the vehicle or power it on. They are pretty tight at first but quickly broke. My son has created new ones already twice with paper clips. It’s a poor design to have to constantly remove them for use. The plastic shell was quickly scratched just from the pin removal as well. We’ve had the vehicle for 15 days now and my son has reinforced the outer shell with duct tape where it was already significantly broken. He’s also replaced all the pins with paper clips. He still loves playing with this but I’m disappointed in the durability of the truck. It doesn’t match the engine capability at all. ... show more

This little car is packed with performance! I bought the car for my son who is just a bit under the recommended age (14+). He was able to quickly learn to control the R/C car thanks to the simple steering wheel control style. The controller has a adjustable setting that lets you limit the top speed of the car or use the full power that will but a smile on anyones face! The build quality is great and it holds up to jumps, tumbles, and bumps. It performs like a much more expensive r/c car. I would buy it again and just might buy one for myself! ... show more

This RC Car is great for the price. It handles flips, turn overs, and jumps with no issue. It comes with an adjustable speed on the remote which helps with the little ones gaining there sense of steering. At full speed the battery only lasted for about 10 minutes. So, if you want to get a full day of play. I would suggest getting extra batteries. My family and I are enjoying this product and look forward to seeing what the larger scale models are capable of. Gift for my daughter, but like it so much I got a similar RC car so we can play together. Paid $58 just before Christmas, which is a great value, at the current price of $80 there are better options for $15. Cons: -Shocks have no damping, which affects jumping and control over sudden larger impacts that cause the suspension to bottom our. -Plastic 1/2 shafts were bowed out of the box causing wheel wobble. -Wheels attached with very small plastic screws, can bend and cause more wheel wobble. -2nd battery would have been nice, but they are cheap to buy aftermarket. Pros: -Durable so far, slammed into many objects, no permanent damage. -Very fast and capable off road. -1/16th size is great for indoor and outdoor use. -Manual shows parts list for replacement parts. -It's fun, this thing rips. Spending a little more addresses the Cons I mentioned, such as the LÆGENDARY 1/16 for $100 or Bezgar6. But for <$60 this car is sweet. ... show more
