The media could not be loaded. RC Car: My brother got me into RC cars over this weird summer. I was skeptical about the speed claims given the price (used to drive these as a kid but grew out of it)--but WOW the technology has come a long way, and the price has come WAY down. This thing is fast, maneuverable, and pretty solid for the price. It does stunts and holds up to some pretty insane torture -- i've driven it through sand, mud, tons of gravel, and have smashed and flipped it more times than I can count. The thing is still going strong. Battery lasts. This is the first RC car I've had in a while that could take all this without having to do any repairs (RC cars of this speed go through a lot of stress, and I bought an extended warranty just in case....haven't had the need to use it!). I originally got it for my 8 year old boy but it's a bit too fast for it to be safe (although you can adjust the speed and steering trim). Now it's all mine--I'll get him another :) ... show more

My Brother got this for his son's birthday gift, we agonized over the cost vs would it last? 'His son wanted one that would drive over grass" as the kids want to take it and play with it in the park. After many reviews of cars, driving local, this one we felt was a good beginners in between cost and function vehicle. The day he received it they took it to the driveway and it was fast (I did already pre charge both batteries that came with it- they both had charge but we followed the instructions and charged them to full power), then they took it to the park. It worked great, there was speed and power over grass and rocks. [Exactly like the advertisement said] they even tested it out for a ramp jump - shocks worked good. Now for long it will last, who can say. It's been two weeks and it's holding up fine. RC cars always break, what we liked was the ability for replacement pieces. There was parts that came within. NOTE: 2 batteries were USB charger cables no wall outlet plug styles, so I recommend buying a surge protector outlet extender with USB plug ins included. These days its a must have anyway with phone charger cables, it is where the futures seems to be headed so why not have one anyway. The truck is smaller than it seems advertised, but it is still extremely fun to zip around with. For it's size, it's pretty fast and it's very durable. I've crashed it several times and rolled it several times and not one thing has broken. The remote is also very comfortable and easy to use. Straight out of the box, I realized the rear tires were angled in towards each other, but it doesn't seem to have much of an effect on the truck. It's also advertised that it comes with 2 batteries. I only received 1 battery and it seems like a common issue. Very few people actually got 2 batteries. It's very easy to lean how to use and is great for beginners. On the remote you can actually slow down the max speed so that it goes slower for beginners. ... show more

This is an awesome little truck. Had it about a week now and love this thing. Just got back into the rc world recently to spend some fun time with my 6 yr old who’s really getting into it. In the last six weeks I’ve bought 6 rc trucks. Got an Auftker fast one and it had so many problems from stripping gears to battery bloating and steering knuckle broke and I’m not rough on it like my son is so no excuses for what happened there. Anywho, this truck has been no problems. I haven’t even needed to turn the speed up all the way yet zipping I and down the driveway or at a play spot we went to got off roading. It has decent shocks and good tires. Only comes with one battery so buy more vid this thing is fun. On a side note, i got my son the brushed motor version with the blue body and it’s just as hood only not as fast as mine as it should be. Another side note, he has a Redcat volcano 16 and the ravage is better at handling dirt to better shocks i think. The volcano is a good truck too but my son broke three wheels off before i could upgrade the axles. For just having fun with the kids i don’t think you can beat this one and they won’t either cuz it’s really fast. In conclusionI think these are better than Redcat and Bezgar for the money. Not dissing them just saying i think this one rocks the best. Peace out ... show more

    • Super Fun and More Durable than Expected compared to General Store RC Cars

My son wanted a RC Car again this year, but didn't like anything I saw at the general stores. This thing easily beats anything I've ever played with for around $100.. Assumed it'd break within the first hour or maybe last a day. It's been much longer after having crashed into about everything at nearly full speed aha. Definitely worth the price. 2 batteries, 2 chargers, lasts much longer than anything from the general stores, even with its tiny, lightweight battery. My son absolutely loves it, whether it's me or him playing with it. He loves how it's throttle sensitive and doesn't lose control after going really far down the street.
