These are incredible. My husband got these for me for my birthday, and we both enjoy how easy they are to use. With just a twist of the dumbbell on the dock, you can increase the weight to your desire, and do anything from bench press, curls, and even squats and deadlifts. The grip is comfortable and sturdy. Adding weight to the dumbbells do not make them feel unstable in the slightest. They even work well with my wrist straps for heavy weight. I thought they would feel very wide or unnatural compared to free weights, but they feel just as manageable as them.
