So first off, the value is great. You get a ton of LARGE gold coins for a very cheap price. That's the only good news. When we opened the jar, we found about 10 of the coins were open/damaged. This makes the value take a big hit of course, who wants broken coins? The biggest problem is the flavor. I'm not sure how to describe it. It's reminiscent of chocolate, but it's... tart. It's bad enough that none of my sugar addicted children finished eating a single coin. I took a bite of one and ended up spitting it out. I would recommend this as a gift for someone you don't like.

I'm disappointed. I bought this to make a gift to some acquaintances, but it was unpresentable as there were many pieces of chocolate that were not properly wrapped and chocolate debris was all inside the jar making it look messy. So I could not gift it and instead tried a piece. It tasted weird and not like real chocolate.

The coins look great! Uunfortunately, I am using them for an event with a specific number of children, multiple coins were broken or unwrapped in each of the four containers. While separating and bagging the amount for each child I had to undo my work and double back and give less coins per child. Be mindful of this if you are expecting to use every coin. Didn't taste them so I cannot comment on that part

Like many of the people who received this item, many of our gold coins came open and broken within the plastic container. We ordered 2 containers of 120, and ended up with about 200 intact coins. Many had the wrappers off, many fell off when picked up. I’m sure some are broken under the wrapper. I don’t recommend these for a piñata, but for a display in a bowl, fun thematic snack or other distribution where the items will be handled with care, this would work well. I didn’t eat any, they smelled sweet and like your regular generic, low-grade chocolate. It was the least expensive I could find on Amazon, and much less expensive than bargain stores- even with the loss of product. And- it came with a very nice container. I’d recommend these for children or when you need to buy in bulk. Not when you are buying to enjoy chocolates.

I bought these for my students as a lunar new year gift. Luckily there were over 100 as many of them (at least 20) were unusable bc the wrapper had come off during shipping. The chocolate also smelled different, not bad but different.

I bought 2 canisters for a project. About 10-15 in each jar came unwrapped. I didn't open the canisters when I received, didn't need them till last weekend. We put them in a bowl and noticed that some of them the slim little top came off. These were being used for children for a project, , we had to throw them away. We were lucky to find some, smaller coins at a store to buy or we wouldn't have had enough for the 200 kids participating. Very unsatisfied with item.
