Exactly what I wanted. A solid rated rope with a bag for easy storage and deployment. The carabineers and the anchor loops are solid. Rope is rated for 15 kilonewtons /3300 pounds minimum breaking strength.

I used this rope and included carabiners as a part of a rock climbing anchor. While fit and finish aren't on the same level as big brands and it's quite heavy, I never had any doubts that the rope and carabiners were solid.

Needed a good strong lead for my dog while she is outside and this was the perfect solution. Will not fray, can handle the weather and I don't have to worry about my dog snapping the rope. Strapped right to railing and used a smaller hook to attach to my dog's harness. Need a good lead for dog, this is the way to go. 👍 ... show more

    • Excellent secondary safety line for tree stands or tree climbing backup.

I have been climbing with tree spikes and lanyard. I am an amateur. I climb low and slow. I set a Fall/Rappelling line as a safety step during my climb. I use a VT Hitch, Distel or a Schwabisch Hitch and a rated carabiner. Always use ASTM-Certified rated equipment. This line is excellent for this task. It has a great gripping braid. Always test the Hitch before you need it as life support. The steel ferrule in the loop may flair out at max load but I haven't experienced this. I am not loading the whole system (rope, rope ends, and carabiner) over 50% of it's rating. This rope it 2lbs so I can clip it on my belt wrapped up and drop it down when I get to a stop point.
