This product was a huge let down. The adhesives were not good quality and did not help with a good seal. Why is the syringe threaded and not the pedestal? I had 3 chips in my windshield and when I used this kit, they are barely noticeable! It took a little to get used to and to make sure there was enough of a vacuum to push the resin in the chips and seal it properly. But now when I'm driving, it doesn't bother me anymore.     • Waste of time
The sticker doesn't hold the gray plastic to the window enough when the plunger is pressed in. The resin just leaks all over the place. the resin doesn't stay in place anyway when you go to slice off the extra parts with the safety razor.

    • Not Perfect but it Works
Have used this kit a total of 4 times now. Easy to use but it does not make the the chip nearly invisible. It does seem to do a good job at sealing the chip to keep out moisture though. Before the repair you could feel the chip in the glass, after it is very smooth.

In Alaska we get a BUNCH of window chips from rocks being kicked up on the Hwy. Instead of letting the chips go, then they turn into a spiderweb of cracks, I just fill the chip before the water can get into the chip, then freeze causing the cracking process. It good to keep one of these kits to save yourself from having to buy a new windshield. ... show more

I bought this kit and used YouTube videos to apply it. For the most part, it was easy to apply. The videos show the chip to be barely noticeable. Mine I can still clearly see (it does not block driver's view, so not an issue for me). The important thing, will the windshield crack as temperatures drop below freezing. It has been more than a month since I applied it to my windshield. There have been a couple of nights when the temperature dropped below freezing.
