I lost the styrofoam in the front of my kayak. Couldn't get an original replacement. This was the next best thing. Looks solidly built. I secured it with large zip ties. I would give it a 5 star rating, but they're kinda pricey.

My kayak has no forward bulkhead/storage space so I wanted something to ensure flotation in case of capsize. Product appears well made and easy to inflate. I stuffed it ahead of the pedals and it fits perfectly. This is the medium size for a 12 foot kayak.

I carelessly punctured one, patched it, and it's still going strong 2 years later. Easy to install. I have a Dagger Callisto, I ordered 2 medium floats. It fits perfectly in the bow, it's a little big for the stern, but I just don't inflate it all the way and it keeps stuff from rattling around if I've packed a lunch in the compartment. I check every time I go out and they are still inflated even with the temperature changes. I don't think I'll exchange for the small, because if the bow ever leaks or gets damaged (most likely from a stray fishing hook), I'll use the stern until I get a replacement. ... show more
