I was able to put my box spring on the frame with my mattress on-top and it held up just fine. I’m currently laying in it 😂 it sits up high which I love. It was also easy to put together. I built it myself. The directions are clear and it comes with everything you need to assemble. I’d recommend a drill to make it go by faster but I did use a screw driver and the provided L-bend. Overall good bed. Took about 2 hours for me as a single woman to assemble. Its very sturdy. I read other reviews that said it doesn't squeak but it definitely does. When I sleep alone, Im about 125lbs, its not bad with just normal turning over. But with two people its definitely more, and if you're wrestling its definitely louder. ... show more

I put this frame together by myself. It wasn’t that hard. I had just got off work. Wanted to whip it together real fast so I could plop my bed down, shower, and go to sleep. Looord, the stickers on these polls were extremely annoying. I could have waited to get some goo remover but I had already got the frame 95% put together and wanted to just shower and sleep! These stickers were for the canopy of the frame and no matter which way I put them you could still see them. The assembly was pretty great! The screws came in a bunch of little plastic containers that has paper glued to the back (think of your average razor pack) and they are all labeled with their corresponding number/letter with the instructions. I did it myself and it took me about 2-2.5 hours. What held me up was getting everything on top secured, I’m not 5’. The screws to hold up the top poles seemed like they didn’t fit, I included pictures. But the overall sturdiness of the bed itself is fine. It’s the posts that move with ease. I wasn’t expecting much, I knew I wasn’t paying $500 for a bed, so I think it’s a pretty great find. ... show more

Some of the pieces we a little bothersome to fit together( the poles/bed slats) but we were able to force it in to place. It’s a nice bed for the price, I’ve enjoyed it so far.

Redecorated room. Canopy was a great addition. One of the bars on bottom was smaller than the rest and couldn’t lock in on other side. Left it out but it still works great with new mattress.
