fits the budget and works well!

I really like this bed frame. My partner and I had one that had been literally falling apart for a while so this is a huge step up. Feels really sturdy and well built to me, I’m definitely on the bigger side and was worried about if it would hold me but it does well so far. It took us about two and a
half hours to assemble, there’s a lot of pieces and parts but it becomes pretty intuitive after a while. The directions could be written better for sure but with a little common sense and double checking each other we got the job done. The one thing I would mention (and it doesn’t bother me but it does seem to bother other people in the reviews) is that the drawers are not on a track system or anything. The inside of the drawers have a little knob that slips into a keyhole on the frame. It works well for me and we’re not jerking the drawers around or anything, but maybe for kids this might be a bit of a concern as they could completely pull the drawers out and things might get skewed. Also, the drawers have a ton of storage space but unless you have no nightstand or a floating nightstand, it would be hard to use the drawer nearest to the headboard without moving something. Overall, very happy with my purchase and would recommend if you’re on a budget and consider the particular aspects of the drawers!

My headboard came damaged. There was a hole at the lower part of the headboard, but not that big of a deal since it is now covered by my mattress. The main pain point is how the drawers dont follow a track and that to 'lock' them into place, you actually have to lift them to fit the screw into a litt
le keyhole. I never get it on the first try and end up just pushing the drawer under the bed without locking them. The drawers themselves are okay. They're plastic but still flexible, so I'd be cautious of putting too much weight on them. Also, the headboard itself isn't very tall, so be sure to measure it in terms of your space! We considered getting an adjustable frame to go on top of this, but with the height of that and the mattress, both would've completely covered the headboard, so it's just something to keep in mind. Overall, I'm still pretty happy with my purchase and the drawer thing isn't a huge dealbreaker for me.

Customer service sucks. Feel like I overpaid

The bed frame looks great after assembled. The drawers did take longer than expected to build but they're very spacious. I ended up in needing to contact customer service on the company's website because the legs on my frame didn't come with the plastic feet, which is a problem due to the possibility
of the legs ruining my floor and the center bar has a leg that comes a few inches off the ground. I submitted a request with all the info and a week later it got denied. Of course, I don't have another bed to use so I had to supplement Styrofoam to place under the feet as a temporary solution. I had to then email customer service to explain that no, the plastic feet are not on ANY of the legs even though they're supposed to be manufactured with thr plastic feet already on them. It felt more like an argument with customer service than a conversation to get the issue fixed. CS wanted pictures of all the legs to prove that the plastic feet aren't. I havent been able to do it yet and I'm not sure if I did send them pictures to prove that there are missing parts that I would actually get them without having to do more steps for these parts that the company seems to want to be absolutely sure I'm not ripping them off (or so it feels). After seeing the end product I feel like this should have a $300 price tag on it

The wooden slats used for the lining are poor quality and not very sturdy. I’ve already broken 5 just barely getting in and out of bed. Aside from that, the bedframe and drawers are lovely once it’s assembled.

A nightmare to build - but worth it

All the screws and bolts needed special tools I hd to go to the store to find. Then, with two people, it took us like four hours to build. On the bright side, taking it apart and moving it later on won’t be as difficult since the larger chunks will already be put together. It’s sturdy and doesn’t cre
ak or wiggle. The fabric is nice and modern. The wooden pallets give my already-great mattress even more of a cloud-like feel. The drawers are cheap but will be fine for things that aren’t heavy. Don’t put carpentry tools in there and it should be fine. Lol Tbh, I forgot I had those new drawers until I started writing this review. Had the bed for a few months now. I love it!

Nice bed, be careful disassembling

I've had this bed for about a month now. It feels sturdy, doesn't make a lot of noise, and stores a lot of stuff. Assembly was fairly straightforward. I've only run into two issues. First, when were assembling it, we tried to remove one of the black grips that holds the plank in the middle and it sna
pped. I am worried that they're built to be assembled once, not disassembled and re-assembled. This is an issue for me because I don't expect to be living in my current house forever, but we'll see how it goes. The second issue is minor. Since the drawers are not on a track like they would be in a dresser, they don't always go in straight. If you have any objects that rub against the bottom of the bed, you may have trouble getting the drawers back in place. Even with these concerns, I'm very pleased with the bed. I like that the drawers lock in place. EDIT (2021): It’s been about two years since I purchased this bed. I’ve moved twice in that time, meaning I’ve had to disassemble and reassemble twice. The frame of the bed still holds up, but as expected the plastic grips have not. Mine have snapped and warped to the point where some don’t fit where they’re supposed to anymore. If you have to disassemble this bed, DO NOT try to remove the plastic grips. They are not meant to be removed. Just unscrew the sides of the frame and remove the wood slats that way.

4 out of 5 stars solely based on the difficulty of assembly for 1 Person and lack of mobility for the drawers if your mattress sits on top of them (Partially my fault, but there should be more clearance between the edge of the mattress and bed frame and where the drawers meet). y bed after putting it together properly. Unraveled my matress ontop and hardly moved when dragging it across the wooden support beams. And I was worried after the negative reviews, but I had no problems or no damage internally, just some damage to the packaging. I am a 27 year old male, active duty, with plenty of experience moving and building/tearing down furniture. This was somewhat difficult for one person since the support beams are flush with the bottom of the headboard. I had to prop up the headboard against the wall and work extremely fast to put in the screws for the support rails so they didn't fall out or be misaligned. From carrying the boxes to the second floor of my house, unboxing, and building with a couple of breaks. Construction took 4 hours. It looks amazing and holds my Avenco King Size Mattress really well.

LOVE the finished bed-frame, but follow the directions!!

This bed frame comes with step-by-step directions with pictures that are easy-to-follow, but you MUST read everything on the directions and pay attention to small details. For example, we had some difficulty when we realized the wooden slabs MUST be facing upwards instead of downwards. We were halfwa
y through when we realized this, and had to pull the plastic pieces holding the wood slabs out and start over. When assembling the drawers, we had at least one of them backwards and had to reassemble it from the start. So follow the directions and you should be able to avoid little errors like these. We only had one incidence in which the suggested screw wouldn't fit the corresponding hole. Other than that, everything aligned easily. Be sure NOT to tighten the screws all the way until all the other screws for that step are at least semi-tightened. I would say it's a two person job, but probably could be done alone if physically strong enough to hold up the headboard and screw at the same time. It would take much longer alone than with two people. It took my husband and me about 2 to 3 hours to assemble together.

This bed is absolutely perfect. Very sturdy and surprisingly stylish. The dark grey upholstery and simple clean shape will fit almost any decor. It doesn’t look cheap at all. The storage capacity is maximized to use the entire space under the bed - a life saver for small apartment living. The drawers
slide easily on my relatively thick carpet and I love that they lock in place on the frame. I’ve been using it for sleep, storage, and reading/tv watching for 3 months now and it is still very sturdy and looks brand new. The bed comes in one box and I was shocked at how small it was. It was pretty heavy but I (medium-sized girl) was able to slide it from my apartment lobby to the elevators to my room without help. If you have stairs, it will likely be a two person job. The bed is broken down into lots of pieces to minimize shipping size, therefore it takes a little effort to put together. I did it alone in about 1.5 hours. Luckily each piece is very light so it was easy to do by myself. Most of the time was just getting all the screws tightened. Only downside is the back of the headboard is not finished - just a piece of black cloth covering the frame so it wouldn’t look good in the middle of the room. But since most people put their headboards against a wall, it’s not a problem.

My fiance and I needed a new bed and we bought our daughters bed on amazon back in November 2018. The directions were very easy to follow and everything was properly labled. lt part were the slats. I believe there are 12 per side amd you have a wooden slat that you place a plastic holder on and have to get the plastic part of the holder into the metal part of the bedframe. Seems easy enough, not so much, we tried with all of our strength to push these plastic pieces into the metal frame and did not have any look. The directions did not say to do this or that you needed this but we ended up getting a towel and a hammer to set the plastic pieces in place. Other than that the bed was very easy to put together and looks very nice once finished. A lot of people didn't like the drawers and the fact that the bottom and sides are made out of plastic but no one really can see that part in less you leave your drawers open 24/7.

The bed frame lasted me about 3 years. By the end of its life, multiple wooden slats had broken, and the metal support in the middle had broken. Honestly I would say it’s not worth it for how long it lasted me, but it was okay.
