I mainly bought this bed because I needed a quick cheap bed frame to replace one that was falling apart. I haven’t noticed any squeaking or sturdiness issues like other reviewers have mentioned. I think the key might be to make sure everything is tightened properly when setting it up. So far I’m happy and it’s pretty great for the price. Pro tip to make putting this bed together much easier. Buy four 1/4 inch hex nuts to use instead of the ones they provide in the box. I was struggling so much with the nuts and bolts until I gave up and grabbed replacements at the hardware store down the street. Better hardware made it a breeze. I ordered this bed frame to replace two former beds. The frame is pretty but being that I wasn’t familiar with the assembly or what tools would be needed, I chose to pay for assembly service through Amazon. The service provided delivery, unboxing, setup, and cleanup. The two delivery guys were great, a little clumsy but they had a long day, so I didn’t let that bother me. They got the bed unboxed and setup took about an hour to complete, and allowed me to see how the setup looks whenever I move. I like the bed has two height options that you can change out and the overall look of the frame is industrial modern, which is the style I like. Personally, I prefer platform beds and have taken a liking to more metal framed beds over wood as it makes decorating easier. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase but maybe I’ll update my post once I’ve had it for several months, and really test it out. Haha. ... show more

The bed is very nice looking and overall seems to be sturdy. The problem I ran into is the footboard does not touch the floor. I guess the holes were drilled a little too high for the frame? The support legs underneath do sit nicely on the floor as does the headboard but if this came with adjustable feet that would have solved this issue. I ended up putting felt pads on the footboard legs which did the trick. Given the price of this bed I anticipated there might be a minor issue or two. Glad it was only one. Make sure you don't tighten the frame to the headboard all the way until attaching the footboard. Good bed for the money. ... show more

It did take awhile for my husband and I to assemble - 2.5 hours - but it was worth it. I'll update with a photo once we have bedding on it, but I definitely recommend this bed frame. Seems sturdy enough and looks great. Arrived in great shape and all parts/pieces were included. I put a 12" mattress on it - perfect fit. I had purchased a box spring - 9" - to give it more height, but it would have raised it too high and covered up the decorative headboard. Easy to put together. Love the look of this bed frame. My only negative is that yhe headboard does sit a little low. I wish it was higher. Note, we do have it on the highest setting. I haven't heard any noise like some reviews mentioned. All in all, it will work.

I was afraid at first because our mattress is quite heavy. But it was just great. The bed looks very nice , classic and does not look huge. Our last Kong size bed it took over the whole bedroom. Bottom line, really recommend. We love it.
