I originally bought this mattress for my daughter, but I have been sleeping on it for the past two days. I love this mattress, it's medium firm and helps me sleep better. The mattresses I purchased before were either too hard or too soft, and sometimes my whole body ached when I slept. And it comes rolled in a box that can be easily expanded and retains its shape. This mattress is very thick and comfortable. It comes in a compressed package that is easy to move around. It can be moved easily to different floors, and then set it up there. It may appear soft when you sit on it. But when you are lying on it, the mattress can distribute your weights well, and it will not sink much, and just be comfortable. He's moving from a full to a queen size, and wanted something soft but not too soft. This mattress it gives me two options. You can choose the side you like the most. Actually I am a returning customer for this brand’s mattress. I purchased this brand’s mattress about two years ago, my Dad extremely happy with it, says it is very comfortable and him sleeps well!So he told me to buy a new one for my younger brother. Let me start with I'm a plus size woman who bought this mattress for our cabin, so it's only used weekends. After 3 weekends there's already an indentation where I lie. I bought this mattress for my daughter’s 1st bed. It is supposed to be 10 in high and it seems to fit perfectly in her frame. We have a Montessori style bed so this mattress is basically enclosed on the floor with an opening for her to get in and out. At that opening I noticed when I was making her bed that I sink almost to the floor when kneeling on it. I by no means am a big person. My 11 year old is almost bigger than I am in both height and weight. I am probably no more than 140lbs if that and am 5ft 4. There is also no label to tell you which is which side which you think would be common sense to add on this type of mattress. Our mattress also did not come with the mattress opener tool so was kind of a pain to get through all the plastic which was enough to fill at least one whole trash bag. I probably would not recommend buying this mattress for an adult or an older/larger child but I think it is a fine bed for toddlers/young children.
