The first time I ordered a Novilla 10 Inch King Mattress, I received a very defective unit. I have owned over a dozen memory foam mattresses, so I could tell right away that this one was defective. Still, I waited the full 72 hours to give it time to take its shape. Unfortunately, it did not. It was warped at all four corners, one half of the mattress was an inch shorter than the rest, the top was rippled oddly on one side, and the thickest portion of this "10 inch" mattress only got to about 8.5 inches. Side note: this was during the heat of summer in Florida. Reached out to customer service. They tried to make me return it. I said there's no way to stick this mattress back into a tiny box, and I commented that it seemed unusual they would spend so much money shipping a defective product back to them. They said it's okay, a driver would come pick up the mattress at no cost to me, and they had me complete a return form. Then I received a message that return delivery services for mattresses were not available in my area. So I reached out to customer service again and they said it's okay, I could dispose of the mattress and a replacement was on its way. No charge. I waited two weeks. The replacement finally arrived! I opened it up only to realize it was the wrong size. It was clearly a Queen mattress - and this one was also defective!! I had to repeat the entire scenario I detailed above, but instead asked for a refund as I was tired of the entire ordeal. Used the refund to order a different mattress entirely. I'm not sure what's going on with Novilla's quality control, but there is clearly an issue there.

This mattress is fantastic. It's memory foam has a nice slow-sink and you can feel the mattress conforming to your body. We searched for a mattress that had a similar profile to a Nectar but a bit firmer. This mattress met those needs. My wife and I have had deeper sleep and woken up without back pain. The motion isolation is great as we no longer feel every single movement the other makes at night. Now for some, it definitely won't be a perfect mattress. It is medium-firm softness but leans closer to the firm side of things. It also doesn't have the best edge support but that wasn't a big need for my wife and me. Lastly, despite ordering the 12 inch mattress, ours has only expanded to about 9 1/2 to 10 inches even after waiting the designated time and doing the troubleshooting described in the manual. Overall, a fantastic value and even if it only lasts half as long as our last mattress, it'll be cheaper to continue buying Novilla in the future
