I ordered this for my son so we could do together over the holiday school vacation. I anticipated bad weather and if I was going to be home with him I wanted to make sure we would spend quality time together. This set is super cute and so easy to use. Which, is a good thing because it came with no instructions lol I am not creative at all, so I had to go back to the online pics to figure out what everything was. I did the pics on the box too. Now that I have an idea of how to create the sea creatures I will def make my own designs. The kit came with shells, paint, stickers, glue, goggly eyes, and glitter. The 2 paint brushes are 1 big and 1 very thin one for designs. This is a really nice set and comes with a lot of shells. So, def invest in a few extra paint brushes if you want to make them with the family as a whole. only 1 shell came broken so honestly I have no complaints. This is a really cool gift or family fun project!

I got these for my little 7 yr old, artist niece. The set comes with everything she needs to create her own unique shell designs. The shells are all pure white to start so they are a clean slate for her to create her designs. The glow in the dark feature is really cool and I think that gives this set a more unique quality to it. Set fits compactly into one box so it is easy to store and put away when she is done using them for the day and easy to take out and start again whenever she wants. Included paints are in great colors and there is a large selection of supplies included. Very nice set, great for the creative designer in your life. I think this would make a terrific birthday or Christmas gift. Great value for the price. Very happy with this and would recommend.

The media could not be loaded. To begin with, kit looked great upon opening. Then it came time to open the paints, which was extremely difficult. The tabs are too flexible to be used to open the paints. If I had any disability that hindered fine motor skills, they would have been trash due to inability to open. Then, when I got the first one opened, it was so thick the paint brushes provided did not pick up any paint, I had to mix in water first. This is true for all if the paint. The "clay" is more like foam than clay, I will update the review if it doesn't dry out properly. Overall it wouod get 2 stars if going off just the quality and difficulty to use, but my son did enjoy using it, so it gets a 3rd star for entertainment value.

I know rock-painting was a big thing for a while there, and this one seemed similar enough, but different enough to be appealing. The creases in the shells also allow for some creative designs. The downside would be the quality of the paint, and one of my glow in the darks was all dried up. Overall, though, a nice set to entertain a 7 year old on a low-key afternoon.

This is a great gift! The box includes everything you could need to decorate your own sea shell collection. The shells, supplies and paint. Its easy for a child to do independently and in the end they have a great little finished product to see and be proud of! It was a huge hit with out 4 year old!
