I was really disappointed with this mattress. It was advertised as offering firm, supportive comfort, but that was not my experience at all. The mattress feels much softer than expected and provides very little support. Instead of feeling cushioned, I could actually feel the springs pressing through the top layer, which made it uncomfortable to sleep on. It felt like there just wasn't enough padding between me and the coils. After sleeping on it, I woke up feeling sore rather than well-rested. The lack of support was noticeable from the first night, and it definitely didn't provide the comfort I was hoping for from a hybrid mattress. Unfortunately, this has been one of my biggest purchase regrets. If you're specifically looking for a firm mattress with good support, I would recommend looking at other options. ... show more

I’ve been sleeping on the Novilla 12-inch Gel Memory Foam Mattress for a little while now, and I’m honestly impressed. From the first night, I noticed how comfortably it hugs the body without feeling too soft or too firm. The gel memory foam keeps the temperature balanced, so I’m not waking up hot or sweaty like I did with my old mattress. What I love most is the pressure relief — my back and shoulders feel so much better in the mornings. The mattress expanded quickly after unboxing, had almost no smell, and feels super high quality. I wanted to love it since it had only great reviews, but honestly, it was very plush. I sink down into the mattress and not in a good way. And then I had my brother lie on it, and he sank into the mattress because of the bed springs. This is jsut not my guest room, so I am going to have to get a topper to fix this. But I would not recommend it unless you like a sink-in feel, and also, it feels like it would break easily. If I were to get another mattress in the box, and I have in the past, I would look more into a memory foam mattress, but the box springs for these in the box are not great, but you get what you pay for, I guess. 5/10 ... show more

Not anywhere near firm nor back supporting. Your torso sinks lower than your legs and creates a pinch point in your lower back.. I Wake up horribly sore and this has been a review I’ve been meaning to write since early summer. It just is not durable or a good mattress at all. But that’s what ya get for buying cheap.
