Night one on this mattress topper I got the BEST night's sleep and literally woke up the next morning in a puddle of drool 😆 It is definitely a soft, cushiony mattress when placed on top of another mattress, like sleeping on clouds. However, if it is placed on the hard floor or a hard bed base, it becomes more firm but still very comfortable and supportive (if firm is the support you are seeking). It is definitely thick enough to not need a mattress underneath if you choose to use it by itself! After only two nights on this bed, I could definitely notice a difference and a reduction in my lower back pain, my neck stiffness, and my shoulder tightness. It is extremely supportive, forming and molding to every contour of your body. It comes delivered air tight and condensed into a box that one person is able to carry alone. The box is actually a lot less heavy than I anticipated so it was easy to carry into my house and up the stairs by myself. Opening the packaging was a breeze, included with it is a letter opener razor for cutting and opening the plastic with ease. It is double wrapped in thick, sturdy plastic and very protected. Once opened, it immediately opens up and flops out fluffy and pretty much ready to go. It is recommended to let it air out and fluff up for 48 hours prior to its first use. There is a mild smell from the memory foam but that is completely normal for any foam type bedding. The smell of this mattress is actually extremely mild compared to other purchases I have made in the past. I had to put my face against it to be able to smell it. It did not make the room smell at all. It comes with a really nice and thick zippered mattress protector so no need to buy one (BONUS!). Each of the four corners have adjustable elastic straps to secure it to your main mattress and keep it from sliding around. Look forward to getting lots of 💤 Zzz's with this bed! ... show more

The first thing I noticed is that my dog is totally impressed with it and she is a connoisseur of fine sleeping surfaces. Seriously I noticed right away that irregularities in the mattress were smoothed out. More important I had a great night's sleep and the pad has a luxurious feel of snuggling and contouring to you. The pad fit perfectly under my sheets and it smoothed out the wrinkles in the sheets. I would buy this again and I would recommend it to anyone. First off I am going to start this review by letting it be known that I have been through almost 22 mattress toppers...yes you read that right. I bought a new mattress off here and I knew the risk, but the price was too appealing and I hated the one I had. It hurt me from day one! So a couple years later I was used to sleeping in the recliner and enough was enough. There led my mattress topper journey of despair. This was my last try before I bought the bullet and got a sleep number bed which unfortunately that's where I'm at now. My issue was horrible pain in my lower back and hips...and I'm not elderly here..38. Either the topper pushed my hips up higher and my spine wasn't straight or too low and once again..spine wasn't straight. This one is probably in the top 5 I have tried. When they say 4 inch...it's every bit of it! It stopped my lower back pain almost completely which is a miracle. The only issue is it's very hard. You do feel yourself sink into it a bit, but it may be my fault for ordering 4 inch topper instead of 3. Final thoughts: I would recommend buying it if your looking for a firm forming topper and want it to actually be the size they say. Good luck to anyone who reads this because if your like me it's been a long journey of sleeplessness and now have to fork out 2 grand. Definitely try this first. ... show more

I'm arthritic and have back and hip problems, so I'm always looking for items that will make me more comfortable, especially when sleeping. This mattress topper didn't disappoint! Others I've tried have been TOO soft. This one is firm yet comfortable and conforms nicely to my body offering the comfortable support I need. Generally I'm only able to sleep 3 to 4 hours at a stretch before pain and discomfort wake me. With this mattress topper I slept through the night in absolute comfort, and when I woke I just wanted to stay in bed because I was so comfortable! If you've been searching for something to help you get a good night's rest, and you suffer from old age back and joint problems like I do, I highly recommend this mattress topper! Comes in a small box, which makes it easier to carry to my bedroom. This is a full-size mattress topper I was surprised at how compressed it came as. There are 4 straps around each corner of this mattress topper to keep it secure on my current mattress, this is important because it prevents the topper from mis-align. My current mattress is too soft for me, it has no support at all. I don’t want to replace it because it’s fairly new. Buying a full memory foam mattress is also very pricy. So adding a memory foam mattress topper can easily solve the problem. When placing this topper on my soft mattress, it provides this soft and firm feeling that makes it more comfortable. The feel of the topper is more firm than soft, probably because it’s memory foam. It’s very comfortable yet supportive. I got the 4-inch topper which is the thickest available and it is thick enough to be used alone. I enjoy this topper. ... show more
