The firm feel of the novilla mattress provides perfect amount of support for my back and spine. I wake up feeling rested and without the aches I used to experience with my old mattress. This mattress is outstanding with respect to pressure relief. It eliminated the discomfort I used to feel earlier in my hips and lower back. It’s firm but the memory foam layers gently cradle the body so that it’s not like sleeping on a hard surface. The motion isolation is fantastic. I no longer feel that my partner is moving around at night . It’s staying surprisingly cool throughout the night .The foam layers are doing a great job of regulating temperature and I haven’t experienced any overheating. It’s a good balance of comfort and breathability. The removable, washable cover is an excellent feature that sets this apart. I love how easy it is to unzip and clean the cover . The mattress arrived quickly in a compact box and setup couldn’t have been easier.It expanded fully within a few hours and there wa very little initial odour and has been functional within hours. February 9, 2026 Before purchasing this product I saw that there was 1,800 reviews and it had a 4.5 star rating. I read some of the reviews and they seem pretty good. Well I purchased this mattress, unfortunately I would have to say I was very disappointed. I ordered a 12 inch FIRM queen size mattress, the mattress in fact was only 10 in and height ( See photo), I let it expand for 24 hours before use. The firm mattress was not very firm it was Medium at best. I sunk right in almost 4 inches. It was very uncomfortable for my back problems. Now I have to return it. The edges are very soft when I sat on the edge of the bed I sank all the way down to the bed frame. But this is just my opinion out of many, I hope this review helps. ... show more

I was excited to receive my first mattress purchase in a box(King size), I was pleasantly surprised. I didn’t read where you supposed to let stand 72hrs for the complete fullness (shoulder shrug). Nevertheless, this mattress is worth the $$$. I also didn’t realize it was going to be as firm as it was, until that first nights sleep, I was expecting it to be a bit more comfortable than it was! I thought I needed a firm mattress to help with my back and hip pain, boy was I wrong. Maybe I underestimated the firmness, but if this is what you're looking for then best to just get a 2 inch piece of foam and sleep on the floor. Even tried different toppers on it with no luck. I'm giving this one to a friend and buying a totally different one. My husband sleeps on it fine, so I think it's more of a me problem than the bed itself. If you're looking at the firm option, just know it is like sleeping on a mildly padded floor and to choose accordingly. Otherwise it came together quick and easy, no strong or lasting smell, well made and solid with no sagging at all. I purchased the 10 inch firm version. Unboxing was simple. It came tightly rolled in a box (which still blows my mind), and once opened, it fully expanded within a few hours. No chemical smell, just clean and ready to go. As for the sleep experience: if you like a firmer mattress with real support, this one hits the mark. I used to wake up feeling like I’d been wrestling in my sleep. Now, I wake up rested and without that dull lower back pain.
