I was looking for a mattress that offered both firmness and comfort, and this mattress was delivered perfectly! It’s just the right level of firm which is not so soft that I feel like I’m sinking in but not overly hard either. It provides excellent support and since I started sleeping on it, I’ve noticed that my shoulder, hip and back pain in the mornings has disappeared. The mattress arrived vacuum-sealed, and was perfectly boxed. Due to its weight though, I’d suggest having someone help you set it up on the bed frame. I had my husband helped me to get it ready. Once it was in place, I removed the plastic wrap. There was no noticeable odor when I unpacked it. I measured it to be around 12 inches tall and when I sit along the edge, it feels secure and comfortable. I wake up feeling refreshed and well-rested. This mattress is fantastic!
