The media could not be loaded. Our old mattress which we bought after getting married began to show its age. There are dips in areas where my wife and I sleep. The dips became so uncomfortable that we both find ourselves rolling towards each other in the middle of the night. This is great if you want some intimacy in your marriage lol but ruins your sleep. Fast forward to our experience with this mattress, I don't like mattresses that are too soft or too hard. Just the right amount of firmness with a feeling of plushness is ideal for me. This one is perfect. It finds the correct balance between firm and soft. I was very nervous about ordering a mattress online because if it does not feel right, then you are stuck with a heavy, king-size mattress that you need to return to Amazon. Perhaps I can find a better mattress if I had spent way more than $400 such as a sleep number mattress but overall I am so happy with this one. It is well made. The top layer is very soft. I measured the thickness at several different edges and I measured 11 inches as opposed to the 12 inches advertised. Nevertheless, it is thick enough. When you turn sideways, it leaves a dip at the spot where you just were but it quickly flattens, and the new area where you now adapt to your body weight. For reference, I weigh about 180 pounds Side note, this thing is heavy. You definitely need 2 people especially if you are carrying it up or down the stairs. The box measures 78x13x13 inches. Take that into consideration especially if you are trying to turn around tight corners with it. You might want to open the box first and carry the mattress to its destination spot by bending or folding the mattress. When opening the package, the mattress will want to unspring wildly because of the tension that was built in rolled form. I learned it the hard way. It hit me and I had to take a few steps back like a boxer who took a punch:)

The media could not be loaded. We have our old mattress for 4 years and its time to replace a new one. I normally shop in store to try on but during this pandemic I have no choice. I take my own risk to try this mattress. We got our mattress within a week and it sealed well in a box. It is very heavy, do need 2 people to carry it to the master bedroom. There is cutter attached this package and it helps us to cut out the plastic wrapper easier. It has been 1 week , and we both ( my husband and I ) loving sleeping in this bed .There are some days we will just come in our room to lay across it in the middle of the day . I do not have back pain like other people do, but I always prefer a firm mattress to prevent any back problem. The medium firm style fits my lifestyle. I always go to bed early than my husband does, and I never fell him come to the bed. I was very impress and would highly recommend everyone to try on this mattress. Just for this price, why not give it a shot?

I ended up purchasing this mattress after owning a Sleep Number bed for about 8 years. I HATED my sleep number bed, and was eager to purchase a new mattress and knew I wanted & needed a hybrid mattress, but did not want to spend a lot of money. Doing research, I was slightly concerned about choosing a "cheap" bed because of concerns some people had voiced around the use of fiberglass as a fire retardant in them. I would like to state that I have had NO problems with fiber glass and the mattress or anything like that. I LOVE this mattress. I am a heavy side sleeper, and I need enough softness to be able to sleep on my side but I also need a decent amount of support to keep me comfortable as I prefer a firmer mattress in general. This bed is SUCH A STEAL for the price, I have slept better on this mattress in the past month than I have in the past few years on my janky sleep number bed. The one difficulty was that it is VERY HEAVY. Like the heaviest mattress I have ever lifted/moved in my life, so make sure to have helpers available for when it's delivered, but that's worth it for the price and quality, just something to consider. I let the bed rise and "off-gas" for about 36 hours, even though that's less than the recommended time. It rose pretty quickly, and there were no weird/bad smells at all, which was a pleasant surprise. I put on a water proof/bug proof/dust proof cover that zips shut before sleeping on it, and it's still comfortable even with the cover. It's not hot, and has the perfect mixture of softness and support. I know some people look for information regarding edge support/firmness, and I have to say that certain edges are stronger than others, I'm not really sure why. However, it's not dramatically different on the edges, and really shouldn't be an issue for anyone that I can think of because it's not a dramatic difference. If you're in the market for an affordable, comfortable, hybrid mattress for side sleepers this is the one for you!

Just received the mattress today. I must have received a different type of mattress for the 12" one. Mine is at 11", so will wait 2 more days to see if it "rises" the last inch, but I have 2 sets of springs on my mattress (bottom and just below the top), which the pictogram does not show. Also, mine seems to squeak a little bit as well. Can't tell which set of springs are causing the sound. Update: Mattress is a nice firmness with some softness due to top layer and a mattress pad on top. Feels solid. However, the springs are really noisy and part of the reason I ordered a new mattress. Not going to send it back as it would be far too much work, but I can recommend this if you are hard of hearing, not bothered by the noise, or short on cash and really need a good mattress. For the price, it doesn't likely get much better for a decent mattress.
