"Foam top" does nothing to stop the springs from poking you. I wouldn't call this a hybrid mattress, more of a hybrid torture device. The "individual springs" all work together to make sure you know they are.

Comfy upgrade for our kiddo. Definitely super squishy and plush. He loves to bounce on it because it is crazy bouncy! When I sleep with him it isn’t super uncomfortable, but definitely wake up with a bit of back pain. Ordered this for my 10 year old daughter's new bed. She likes it and says it is very comfortable. If you dont like soft I would not order this bed. Also I have laid on it with her and unless Im in the middle I will slide right off the bed. There is almost no support at the edge of the mattress. My daughter likes it so that's all that matters but I would not say this is the best mattress for an adult. Fine for guest or kids room. ... show more

Would not recommend. Hybrid means that it's 90% springs with a sliver of the foam.

It's comfortable but I wish that I had ordered the 12 inch as if you sit.on the edge it sinks.down quite a bit. I do think it's a comfortable matress

    • Waaaay too soft! Help, I’m sinking!
Not very happy with this mattress. It is way too soft. You really sink into it and there’s no support at all!. I don’t need super firm, by any means, but no one wants to feel like they can’t get off the bed because you’re sinking! would return it except for the hassle.
