  • Durable Garden Hoops but Fragile Hoop Connectors
Size: Garden Hoops
The fiber glass garden hoops are great way to protect plants from deer, rabbits, and other critters! Very durable when installed. One nagging problem - the stiffness of the fiber glass rod tends to fracture the rod interconnects when bending the hoop into shape. We went quickly through three (3) pieces even when slowly and gently bending the rods and inserting into the ground for one cross-hoop. So be careful as you shape the straight rod into a hoop and do not make the bend radius too small - the interconnects cannot take the stress. (Maybe the 5 rod hoop is less fracture prone that the 4 rod hoop.) Otherwise, once installed, you're good to go. ... show more

  • Construction issues

We had to replace the connecting metal pieces with rubber hose. May just have been us... Don't know but worked just fine with the adjustment

  • It will get the job done, but don't expect longevity out of these.
Size: Garden Hoops
We're in SW AZ, where it isn't uncommon for our temps to be above 100 8-9 months a year, with June, July, and August easily being 114+. This means that our raised garden beds require adjustable/moveable shade cloth to protect our plants from burning from 11am-7pm. Even plants that are supposed to be "full sun" cannot withstand our location's full sun. Opening the box, I could tell that sun rot was going to be an issue. Fingers crossed that it makes it through at least 1 summer. Went ahead and put together 8 hoops, consisting of 3 connectors and 4 poles each, to go over our young, small summer crop bed. *IF these hoops do last long enough, the plan is to place metal 1/2" diameter poles around the bed, and then insert the hoop ends into the center of the pols. That way we can raise the hight to accommodate the growing crops.* Placed the 8 hoops in the bed, laid the shade cloth over, and put 2 clips on each hoop to hold everything in place. When I came out the next morning, 4 clips were missing and 1 hoop had snapped and broke right where the pole goes in to the connector. It's been a week now and so far the 4 lost clips and 1 broken pole have been our only issues. However, only time will tell how well these hold up to our sun, wind, rain, and burning heat. ... show more

  • Didn't care much for this

I didn't care much for this. Didn't bend well but I used it to hold plants up so it works for that lol.

  • Needs better connectors
Size: Garden Hoops
The media could not be loaded. This is was perfect for what I needed. But straight out of the box, trying to put 4 straight pieces together, 2 connectors broke. Instructions say 4 or 5. So I did 5. That worked for a few hours. I woke up and more was broken that is under the tarp. As one review said, watch your face. One snapped while I was by the veggies. I have no idea where it went. Might want to keep looking. The packaging is great, they just need better connectors. ... show more

  • Sticks break easily
Size: Garden Hoops+Frost Cloth
I really like this item at 1st. At the connection it snapped overnight. I figured it was just too tight of a curve and added another length. It snapped and then 3 more. I have them about 30" apart when curved. That's the size of my wagon. They can't handle the stress.

  • Watch out for your face
Size: Garden Hoops+Frost Cloth
For the most part this product works, however it is not as flexible as it seems. The black connectors snap very easily and when setting it up, watch out for your face. Be very careful when bending and around them in general as I have had several snap a few days later. They say it can be set up with 4 or 5 connectors, but mine were snapping at 5 connectors and with at least 4 ft wide spacing. Overall they work and the holders for the cover are nice, I'm just very careful around the poles themselves ... show more

  • Pieces not flexable enough and snapped. And Brittle plastic joints
Size: Garden Hoops
Only 2 days later the pieces snapped in half as they were not flexible enough to bend properly. The black pieces that hold the shafts together also broke and crumbled when bending them into the curved shape. Disappointed with this product. 😕 I'm going to have to create a new solution.
