Amazing plane for the money. The gyro is awesome!

Review is for the 3 channel 400mm yellow Cub. Got lucky and had a fairly calm day the day the plane came. This is my 1st gyro stabilized plane and I was blown away by how stable the gyro makes such a light, tiny plane. Battery life exceeded expectations. Must have taken off and landed a dozen or more
times with plenty of flying in between. I buzzed my son dozens of times, at his request of course. He loves it. Pros: Quiet Yellow color makes it easier to see. Decent battery life. Everything you need except 4 AA bats is in the box. The gyro stabilization is amazing but be careful, beginner mode makes for some wide turns... Which is how I know the prop saver is a life saver. Works great! Low price, I only paid around $65 before tax. This is absolutely amazing in a historical context considering the lithium batteries and 2.4GHz "channel-less" radio (fairly common these days but I spent a small fortune on a Spektrum radio back when they first came out). Cons: The stinking battery is difficult to install. There is room for the battery but not so much for the electrical connector. The stiff wires do not help. Shoehorning it all in there is a pain in the neck. Nearly impossible to work on without cutting it open. Notes: The stated brand is NOVCOLXYA but the box says VOLANTEX. They say you are getting 3 props and a brushless motor (see pic) but you only get 2 props and a brushed motor (only 2 wires go to the motor, plus other sellers of this exact same plane claim brushed). The instructions say the charger blinks but it does not. The charger comes on solid while charging and goes out when done. This is okay, but not ideal as a charged battery acts just like one with a bad connection or none at all. An LED that blinks while charging, comes on solid when charged and goes out when unplugged would be a better choice. Also the charger is somewhat incomplete in that it lacks its own power supply. You must provide a powered USB outlet. Oh and it was very tight to plug in. The plane is tiny, smaller than I expected. I know they tell you 400mm which is 15.7 inches but that is a darn small plane. Conclusion: In spite of some misleading advertising and the cons listed above this plane is a fantastic value, easy to fly and lots of fun.

My son got this airplane as a birthday gift. He loved playing with it but it broke, so we got him another one and that one broke after a few days. Unfortunately, we won’t be getting another one.

I purchased this plane for my boyfriend for Christmas and he loves it! He is not technically a beginner with remote control transportation BUT he found this plane really easy to fly. One thing he would recommend is for the propellers to be a different color than black. He flew the plane into a tree a
nd the propellers fell off (as they are designed to do) but it was difficult to find the propellers in all the leaves lol. The plane is very light and fun! Would definitely buy again :)

This plane is a maneuverable, durable, and just cool! I recommend this plane!

I like that it is very durable, making it a good plane for beginners like me. On the mid experience level, I find it maneuverable and just fun to fly! The prop can sometimes be a pain to find and reconnect every time, but anything to keep it from damage. I would like to recommend that you give custom
ers the option for different paint colors, too. But overall, I really like this RC airplane!

Not a great airplane to learn
Color: Yellow
This airplane it’s way to light the wind take it away to easy and for a beginner is kind of hard to bring it back. Return feature don’t work because I lost mine. it lost connection with the controller no more than 30 yard away from me and no more than 20 meter up in the air.

Cables pull out of one battery as pulled from packing.
Color: Red
Only came with one extra prop. The second battery the negative wire pulled out of the battery while pulling from package Not impressed with the quality.

Bought this rc airplane thinking it would be quite durable considering it was almost $100. Got it and the foam is cheap and broke before we even got to fly it. Very disappointed

This product is garbage; missing parts, parts falling off mid-flight.

This product is garbage; missing parts, parts falling off mid-flight. I had the first one replaced because the landing gear was missing. The second one arrived complete, but the propeller was falling off mid-flight. Returned the second one. I mailed it at the beginning of February. Maybe 2nd or 3rd.
It is May 8th 2023 and still no refund. $80 bucks down the drain.
