Ok so I bought this item from OOT Golf. Customer service was fantastic! I didn't receive the battery with the shipment so I contacted the seller and they responded immediately to say they shipped the battery separate via USPS (for U.S. buyers). They ship it separate because the battery is considered "hazmat". I ordered the lead acid battery because I read some reviews that said the heavier battery helps balance the cart better, made since too me and it seems to have been true. Played my first round (many more to come hopefully) with it yesterday. The cart worked very very well. I got lots and lots of comments on it, not only from my foursome but other folks on the course. I must have talked about this thing for 10 to 15 minutes with everyone who saw it. I answered their questions the best I could and the one thing they kept coming back to was price. I think this is by far the best product for the price out there. I did my research and there are some carts that are selling for almost twice what I paid. The cart worked beautifully and I put it through it's paces (or at least as much as I could on the course I was on) and it never ever tipped over. I took it up hills (never over 25 degree grade, as is recommended) and over tree roots, through some water (not a ton) and it kept on doing well. The great thing is you can be pretty far away from the Nova caddy and you can bring it right to you. I never really had it more than 75 to 100 yards away and it worked great. It does take some practice, but it's so easy to use. My one recommendation is always always keep the remote with you, just to ensure you don't lose track of it or accidently forget to hit the stop button or you'll be chasing this thing down the fairway. I would recommend this product to anyone who wants to save themselves back and knee pain at the end of an 18 hole round. I felt great and didn't tire out so much while playing the back 9. It works as advertised (and maybe a little better actually). I did buy a battery charger/tender because I couldn't really get the charger to turn green even after several hours on the charger (too me, no big deal; to you maybe). Highly recommend if you want to focus on GOLF and not everything else, plus walking is good for you! Hit me up with any questions you can think of and I'll get back to you as soon as I can.     • Pushing my old cart again.
This novacaddy s2r is unreliable.shuts down due to over heated control box.Sent emails to the service people in Markham with no reply.this tells me they don't care about their customers.Had to replace speed control on the handle.VERY DISAPPOINTED!!
