Just now shopping a replacement because this one has lasted me 5 years. I'd say that's really good for the price. This is a pretty great hangout for my cats. It's been very sturdy, but eventually they scratched through one of the bottom supports and it's leaning a little too much for safety now. I'm sticking with this brand but getting a bigger one now. Be smart and know your measurements! Everyone is giving negative reviews but that’s honestly their fault for not reading and measuring correctly. Also obviously they edited cats into the pictures, it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to determine that! Now to my HONEST review!!!! I ordered this because it was cheaper than most with more levels. The color is nice of course, the durability is ok! The two square hideaways are very thin and your cat could easily claw right through it if they’re bad enough! The stability- It is a little wobbly so if you have a crazy cat or a fat cat you’ll need to put this against a wall for them; if you don’t then you’re probably safe! Assembly wasn’t bad just don’t do it in front of your cat! This took me about 2 hours by myself because my kitten went crazy with it and because I mis screwed like 2 things and had to take it apart-which I missed one screw again in the end but decided I didn’t care because I wasn’t taking it apart again. I added this to my cart and waited maybe 2 weeks to buy it which my kitten has grown since so obviously I should have gone with something wider/bigger. You get what you pay for and Honestly this isn’t a terrible purchase if you’re on a budget or have kittens. My little guy doesn’t care either way, he just loves it! I needed something cheap that would help my kitten with his energy and this does that for now. With that said my kitten is under a year so he’s still not full grown so I’m sure sometime in the next 6-8 months I’ll need a bigger one. Hope this helps those with questions-again don’t be like these other people in here-be smart, know your cats size, know your budget, know your measurements, read the measurements they clearly give you as to not con people. ... show more

I bought 54 inch cat tree in light gray. It has a slight wobble but I put some felt pads on the bottom to cover the screws, so it would not scratch the vinyl floor, and then I put it between the wall and a larger cat condo, so it is pretty stable now. We basically bought this for our cats to use as stairs to get to the top of the other larger cat condo, and it will work great for that purpose. It took a while to put it together, but everything’s labeled with numbers/letters, and the diagrams are very clear, so it was not very difficult to assemble. The only down side is how small the 3 round areas at the top are. One of them has an edge, so they expect the cat to use it as a bed. Only a kitten would fit on these 3 round areas, due to their small size. Since we are only expecting our cats to use them as steps, the small size works for our purposes. If you have big cats like I do, and want a plush big condo where your cats can sleep at the top, get a differnt item, this one is small and basic (my 2 cats are each 13 pounds). My cats seem to like this tree a fair bit. I disagree wit the reviewers saying it's too small. The larger of these two cats (The black one) is around 14 pounds, she can get into both houses and does, but prefers the upper house. Neither cat really likes the lower house. They all use the perches. I guess maybe if you have a mega fat cat or a very long cat this tree isn't for you... But these cats (Average sized according to the vet) are good with it. Now onto the assembly... The assembly directions describe each piece but they don't really have labels on each piece, usually when you get furniture that comes in pieces and stuff is labeled A, B, C, etc in the directions it comes with a label either molded into the plastic or stuck on. Not the case here. As far as actually putting it together, some steps I felt like weren't super well thought out. Like it's easier to attach the cat houses to the platforms before the platforms are attached to the columns than it is to do it the other way like the instructions show. As far as figuring out how to assemble the thing, the best way to go is line up every piece (including the bolts) and use the relative sizes to figure it out. Took me about a half hour to assemble it, but... it should have been quicker. Another recommendation: The bolts are all fairly long, use a power drill to run them into the holes (Use one of the torque clutch settings so you don't strip the threads) and use the allen wrench for final torquing. If you've made the bolts good and tight the thing should be pretty sturdy. ... show more

this cat tree is more for kittens or tiny cats, not big fat cats lol. i have a big fat one and my lil boy is just too big for it & broke some pieces off of it. definitely worth the price overall, comes with a little attachment to nail into the wall so the cats can’t tip it over. even though my boy is too big for it now (got it when he was smaller) he still loves it and crams himself into it lol. definitely got our use out of it. wouldn’t recommend if you have a big cat that weights 10-20 pounds, it’ll start wobbling over time and the pieces will break off. it’s very soft and my boy loves the scratch features on it. ... show more

The assembly was not difficult. Everything fit properly, the only thing I needed to do was bend some brackets a little. I am pretty weak so anyone could do it. I was, however, missing parts. This was fixed simply my contacting the seller through Amazon. They contacted me late that day, I was surprised! The next day, the missing parts were in the mail and I got them a few days later. My cat absolutely loves this tree. I cannot believe it was so inexpensive! I would not recommend it for large cats. It really is for smaller cats but mine really enjoys it. Once I was able to put on the missing parts, I couldn't get him down. I can't recommend this enough. The seller was fantastic and I enjoy the product. These stars are well earned. ... show more

My cat loved the little sleeping bunks but they are small for her size. I wish each tier level had more room for the cats to jump up and down on. Hazel struggles but doesn't give up. I didn't even have it all together, and she was playing on it and sleeping. Easy to put together, but due to the height, it will need to be screwed into the wall, which isn't something I really wanted to do. But due to it being top heavy it needs to be tied. The quality is well made and the price was affordable. I give it 5 stars due to the good quality, price and Hazel gives it a paws down approval. ... show more
