I'm very shotr(4'9") and just couldn't find a cane that I could adjust for my height. It was great to find this cane! It's nicely lightweight yet made of steel so sturdy. I got the one covered in butterflies and have gotten so many compliments! If I have to use a cane, it's nice to have an attractive one! The cane tip can be replaced when it wears out. As much as I hate needing to use a cane, I’m so glad I have options that express my personality. This cane is pretty for a cane AND it’s very helpful. It’s lightweight and sturdy, which I have found to be important when fatigue has set in. Several cane users have told me I may want to consider changing the bottom cover to one of those wider, 4 section covers. So far that has not been necessary, but is an option if needed in the future. I love this cane! I hate that I need one but I'm glad that there are such beautiful options available. It's very sturdy, quiet and helps me to keep going on my long distance walks. I have osteoarthritis in my left hip and I'm trying to put off replacement surgery. I really didn't want to cut back on my walking so I gave in and decided to buy a cane. I like this cane as it is light weight..my Dr ordered me a quad cane..it was so big and bulky..I kept tripping over it. So I purchased this light weight cane and also got a lighter and smaller quad bottom stopper..I like my cane much better now...lol..and it's pretty too

These Nova canes are everything you want and need in a cane: it's lightweight, sturdy, and the handle is foam, so it doesn't hurt your hand like the wooden handle ones I bought. I'll be buying one for my husband for when he gets his knee replaced. I get lots of compliments on the butterfly design, also. Having so many designs to choose from is a plus. You'll pay much more for these if you buy them in a surgical supply house or a pharmacy. ... show more
