Beautiful boots but way too big I have never purchased dr. Martin’s unisex boots so maybe it was my fault but I sent them back! They were authentic and quality though I would purchase them again. Have they been in my size and for that price? It was awesome.

Easily the most comfortable shoes I've worn. I work retail, and broke these in right around Black Friday, so I was walking 10+ miles a day at work alone. I did put some arch support insoles in (I always do), but I'm astounded to find shoes that don't pinch or rub anywhere weird in the first week of wear. I used some old Kiwi mink oil to soften and waterproof them before the weather got bad, and now they're all-purpose for me - I can wear them out in the snow and for my full shift at work without having to change shoes or socks. The color is exactly what I wanted. I wear a lot of brown and earth tones, and have a vintage leather jacket that matches these almost perfectly. There's a bit of wear on the inside heel area that may get worse over time - it looks like a cloth lining inside is wearing off to expose bare leather. It's not a big deal, it's just kinda... pilling there. I have very narrow ankles but wide toes - the toebox fit perfectly, but the top laces look weird/don't sit well if I'm wearing thin socks. Obviously, not many people are going to try to wear thin socks with their Docs, and most people also don't have scuba-flipper feet with twig ankles either - just keep it in mind. I switched my lacing to corset-style (pull tight from the middle), which seems to help some of my weird foot and ankle things, as well as make them much faster to get on and off. First, I did order the Dr. Martens comfort insole to put in them and the Dubbin and Wonder Basalm to treat and protect the leather and help them break in faster. All of these things helped them break in SO FAST and they’re SO COMFORTABLE!!! Favorite boots I’ve ever had and they look so good! I wear hiking socks with them that are moisture wicking and keep feet cool/warm. All of this combined...I’ve had no issues with blisters! They’re literally perfect! ... show more

I've been wearing docs since the 80s, and decided to get a new pair. Wanted the plain leather brown ones like I had in the 90s(as seen on the cover of million six, free sticker inside ep). With no laces on I could barely fit my foot in the shoe. Way too small where the tounge is joined. Not to mention that anywhere you touch them leaves a scratch mark. ... show more

I like Dr. Martens but I am concerned I won't be able to find a pair that fit. I wear shoes with 1/2 size. These boots don't come in 1/2 sizes. The other thing about them is they are horribly big. This I wasn't expecting. My feet were swimming in them. Anyway. Will try one more time with a smaller pair and if that doesn't work, will be shopping for a different company and style. ... show more
