You have to press the buttons so hard, and the whole face warps when you do. Lol. That might urk me pretty quick, but we cook so much, we were honestly looking for esthetics over quality with this one. It's not really for daily use. Tested it and it was fast and thorough.

I needed a good 1,000 watt microwave, and I love pastels and '50s style. This is a full-size microwave, and works great! It has the handy quick-start feature where you can simply push the 'start' button to start the heat at 30-second increments- I use this a lot, cause I'm lazy, and mostly use the microwave to re-heat food. It also has various cooking types and times you can set, too. The cooking cycle and fan is quieter than older microwaves, which is nice. You can't really watch your food cook in this microwave, because the window is small and tinted, but that's not a concern to me. This is a really good deal! It's around the same price as smaller & lower-wattage retro-style microwaves, and this is full-size & full power. It's nice to have a microwave again, and this looks beautiful in my kitchen! ... show more

Such a cute little microwave! And even though it's the smallest one, it's really not small. It a bit on the loud side, but not awful. Make sure you read the quick start guide because it's got a child lock on it. Which is weird. But it's easy to turn off so you don't have that function. Esthetics over practicality, but I couldn't resist. (You'd think I'd learn my lesson after buying the red TV just because it was red.) It seemed rather flimsy when I got it. The tail of the A in the "Nostalgia" script was lifted up right out of the box, which was disappointing because I thought it was metal but it's malleable plastic. The handle is also plastic, but I didn't want to return it over that, so when glue didn't hold, I cut the tail end of the A off. Six months later it started acting up, light flashing, strange buzzing noises. See video. Customer service sent me a replacement. I sent them a video of what it was doing. Replacement was fast. My warranty on this will only carry until the original year is up, but that's ok. When it goes, I won't buy this brand again, no matter how much I love the looks. Not just because of how fast it started glitching out, but also because it had the most uneven heating I've ever seen in a microwave, and that's the case for both the original and the replacement. Too bad, because it's gorgeous, and customer service was great. ... show more
