I used the microwave a month to make sure it wouldn't fall apart...based on some of the reviews here, I'm lucky the rotating plate didn't break, the handle didn't fall off, or the oven didn't burn down the kitchen. Instead, it survived, though it's only been a month, so who knows. Bottom line, this microwave is not only the best-looking microwave I've ever had, it's the easiest I've ever used. Hit the big round button and it turns on for one minute, then rotate the button to quickly scale your time up or down. There are a bunch of other features that are also easy to understand for anyone with a fifth grade education, but I've cooked meals and reheated items more than once a day for a month and I'm delighted with the overall performance. Yes, the interior light only comes on when the oven is running, not when you open the door. Are the other reviewers blind or something? That just isn't a big deal. Yes, it beeps three times when the cooking session ends. I don't live in a monastery under a vow of silence, so that's okay. The beeping is no louder than any other microwave I've owned. Yes, the power plug forces the microwave to sit about 2½ inches from the wall (see pics)...and the owners manual recommends it sit 3 inches from the wall for venting purposes. I'm okay with that. None of the hundreds of other reviews showed photos of the black version of the microwave, so I'm showing it in several pictures here. It is a handsome devil, even in black, and it harmonizes beautifully with my granite countertop. The interior is plenty big enough for a standard dinner plate (see pics), and therefore big enough for any frozen dinner. The 800 watts of power is slightly less than my usual 900 or 1,100 watts, but it cooks well and cooks evenly. I just follow the directions on a frozen dinner (which are written for 1,100 watt microwaves), maybe adding 10 or 20 seconds to the timing, and it comes out piping hot. Anyone who says it doesn't heat has a bad microwave and should return the oven within a week of purchasing...not sit around complaining about it. So I love my microwave. If it breaks in six months or six years, I'll just buy another one (hopefully when they are on sale, like I did this time). For intuitive microwavers like myself, it is unbelievably easy to use. And it's the most attractive retro-style microwave on the market, whatever color you choose, and it's really not a very close competition with any other design. I could not be happier.

Absolutely love this microwave. I think I bought it in 2021 or 22 but sadly, it doesn't work anymore and I throw it out probably around six months to a year ago. It didn't last very long, but the color and the vintage look was adorable.

I'll be honest, I bought it solely for the looks. I wanted a red one to match my red mini fridge in my office and it looks the coolest. So, I was extremely pleased that it is ALSO an awesome microwave with more features than I know what to do with (I actually had to read the manual to see them all), but easy to use, works amazing, and did I mention looks awesome? It's quiet, perfect sized, and cooks evenly. My hot pockets have never been done so perfectly. There's plenty of room inside for most frozen meals or single dishes to reheat. What's more? The company and their customer service is amazing. Admittedly to my own error, I opened the box upside down and the glass plate was on top (i'd recommend reconsidering that packaging, but I could also just be stupid). It slipped out and broke. I contacted the manufacturer hoping at the very least I could buy a new plate. They responded immediately, and communicated clearly and did me a solid favor and sent me a new plate without charging me. I'm a fan for life, I can't recommend this microwave enough.

Pros: We’ve had this microwave for over 6 months now and overall I’m happy with it. I love the look of it and have received several compliments. The price was great, and the size fits perfectly in our cabinet space, which I really appreciate. It’s also very easy to use and the controls are straightforward. Cons: It is a bit noisy when running, and I don’t feel like it’s the highest quality when it comes to performance. I do wish their were other color options like a brown, or tan microwave or other fun colors. Sometimes it cooks things a little unevenly. That said, for the price, I think it’s still a solid option and does the job.

Love it! It's compact, yet large enough to fit a full-size dinner plate with a splatter cover. I especially like that you can dial in the cooking time by the second. On my old microwave, whenever we needed to reheat dog food for 15 seconds, the shortest setting was 30 seconds, so we had to stand there waiting to stop it halfway through. Another feature I appreciate is the safety lock: you must press Cancel before opening the door. This is great if you have young children, and it also encourages adults to stop the timer properly instead of simply opening the door, which is how I used my old microwave. We don't use it for cooking—mostly for defrosting and reheating food—and it performs those tasks very well. Some reviewers mentioned that the beep is too loud. Either my hearing isn't what it used to be, or the manufacturer changed it, because I don't find it loud at all. If i had to make a change it would be the way the dial works. Since 80% of the time i am reheating something for 15 seconds (like coffee, or small meals) the dial should let me dial 15 seconds then press the dial to start. If i need it the other functions i would start the sequence by pressing the button then selecting the program and then press the dial to start. If I could change one thing, it would be the way the dial works. About 80% of the time I'm simply reheating something for 15–30 seconds, such as coffee or a small meal. I wish I could just turn the dial to 15 seconds and press it to start. For the less frequently used functions, such as defrosting or preset cooking programs, the current sequence would make more sense: press the dial, select the settings with the dial, then press the dial to start. It's a small usability improvement, but it would make everyday operation much faster and more intuitive.

This microwave is more white than ivory. A little more complicated to use than the one it replaced. But once you get the hang of it it’s good. It’s the perfect size for my counter top. Good for what I use it for.
